Does anyone know if HMSOM has AOA? If not, do they rank students internally still, even tho it is pass/fail?

No AOA. They do have ranking into quintiles, goes on your mspe letter. I believe it's primarily based on clerkship scores as phase 1 is P/F.

OOS A on 4/24! WL back in November. I was wondering how other accepted students got added to the GroupMe – was the invite link sent out by admissions?
No, I don't think admissions sent out the GroupMe link. They didn't seem to know about it a few days ago when asked about how to find other incoming students to live with.

Not sure if this is a better question for the GroupMe but I was WL 04/21 then got the A 04/24. Considering the PTE deadline is coming up soon, I was wondering if anyone can provide insight on the timeline for financial aid?

OOS Interviewed 3/17, waitlisted on 4/16. Toured campus, submitted LOIs, and everything. These past two weeks have been the worst two weeks of my life, please let me in!!!!!! Checking my email and this page every 5 mins I'm going insane here
we are literally almost the same, OOS interviewed 3/11 and 4/9, WL on 4/23, did the tour as well and sent LOI😂 i hope we both get in friend 🫂

SAME I feel like they’re deffo done sending it out today tho so maybe we can rest the remainder of the day 😭😭

So if you got the A today (congrats if so) , when do you have to decide if you are taking it or not? Just wondering if this 'coming off the WL' is going to be a long process?

On the email, it says we have until May 9th, so I think the time frame to make a decision would probably be around a weekish from the date you receive notice of the acceptance!

Can anyone comment on or have knowledge of what waitlist trends look like for the next two weeks? Is it generally silence until May 15 after this May 1 wave or is it pretty constant movement throughout? Excuse my neurotic comment but this wait list is my only chance at MD I’m going crazy because of it lol

For those who wish to match into more competitive specialties in which phase 3 residency isn’t possible. What do they typically do that year? Are sub-internships/away rotations common for these students during phase 3 (4th year)?
