OOS II (can't believe it lol) dates for early and mid April, they were not lying when they said they interview into April

II (OS) RECEIVED!!!!!!! GOD is good! I thought it was over but I still remained hopeful.
Danggg saw a email from Howard and got super excited, only to see it was a confirmation of my letter of interest being received rip. STILL MANIFESTING THOUGH.
They said this was their last wave at first Friday last week I’m so upset lol.
Ah rip. Welp, it is what it is! Every rejection is a healthy redirection in my book 😭

I also am wondering is today the last day they’re sending II? Or is it going to be thru the week?
Did they put a time frame on that? As in, this week or month?
I don’t remember if they specified. All Miss Williams Fowlkes said was the last batch of II will be going out next week. I don’t know if she meant all at once or in small batches through the week? But she made it sound like this was the final week… so if I don’t get anything by Saturday I’ll just be expecting my R at that point.

Nope, I replied with my preference pretty much immediately and I followed up but haven’t heard back yet. From other replies seems like it’s fine though (hopefully lol)

Anybody who interviewed on 02/12 hear anything yet?😭
I believe they give out full tuition scholarships to the two students in the incoming class with the highest MCAT scores and half-tuition to students with the 3rd-10th highest MCAT scores. And i think after M1 year there is a similar criteria for top 10 students but now based on your grades/performance in med school.
There are other several small scholarships you can either get based on performance (e.g. $500 for being the person who had the highest grade in a a particular unit like Structure and Function or Molecules and Cells) as well as HUMAA schlolarships you can apply for that they give to several students each spring semester. The HUMAA scholarships aren't necessarily based on ranking or high performance, but you usually need to at least be in good standing to qualify for them.

Hey guys, I just applied to Howard med this year and got waitlisted. Was wondering what the chances are of admission for someone in my position at the school.

At my interview, they said to consider a waitlist an acceptance because a lot of people get off the waitlist. For anyone wondering they also said they technically had to fill their entire class (130 people I believe) on 3/1 but they expect a lot spots to open up come April as people w/ multiple acceptances commit to other schools.
Does anyone know if they’re done with IIs? I want to withdraw at this point. I sent in my secondary in JULY and still crickets.
