If it helps, it about a month for me to get a response when I sent an emailstill haven’t gotten a response to an email I sent off two weeks ago.. neurotic tendencies are creeping in
I may attempt to call before the end of week. hopefully things will be slowing down and they’ll have a bit more availabilityIf it helps, it about a month for me to get a response when I sent an email
did you send it to the “hucmadmission” email?Got a notice yesterday that my update letter has been received! Sent it mid March.
this was shared a while back from the AAMC.Just got waitlisted! Does anyone know approximately how many are on the wait list
I did!did you send it to the “hucmadmission” email?
I wish I understood how they came up with these WL numbers…have a class of 130 people but then 120 WL? Do they really think almost the entire accepted class will turn over? Seems so odd!! I would think maybe they would do like a percentage of the incoming class. So many people on the WL 😭this was shared a while back from the AAMC.
if I understand correctly, I believe a lot of people apply on avg to 20+ schools and some lean towards their instate institutions or schools with better aid/scholarships while factoring in cost of living amongst other things. It’s likely that many of those accept withdraw cause of these reasons and so it requires them to cover their losses so that the class won’t be under come orientation.I wish I understood how they came up with these WL numbers…have a class of 130 people but then 120 WL? I am so excited! I was waitlisted this morning, which means I am still in the running!! During my interview, I was told that around 80% of the class comes from the wait list. Prayers up!I am honestly super grateful for the opportunity, I can kill it during those six weeks, really lock in and get my work done. Your interview will go great, show them who you are, why Howard is an amazing fit for you, and how you fit into the mission. Best of luck, DM me after id love to hear about it!
YESSSSSSSS PERIOD, that is amazing. Fingers crossed for you. youre almost there!I am so excited! I was waitlisted this morning, which means I am still in the running!! During my interview, I was told that around 80% of the class comes from the wait list. Prayers up!

same, seems like there was a wave of pre-II rejections last week but nothing since :/Has anyone else experienced radio silence from them? My secondary was received on 9/1. I haven't received any interview invite or rejection.

yeah i’ve seen/heard 120-130Does anyone know what the class size is? I keep hearing different sizes from 120 to 140. I know the increased the interviews given from around 300 to around 400.
what I understand is we don’t know if majority of them have committed, so come April 30 and after when those holding more than 1 acceptance have to commit somewhere and schools will know if they plan on committing to their school. then WL movements usually happenshow are they accepting over 100 ppl off the waitlist if there are already 122 in the FB group? does that mean most ppl that were originally accepted withdraw their offer? it just doesn’t make sense
From my understanding not everyone in the Facebook group are accepted studentswhat I understand is we don’t know if majority of them have committed, so come April 30 and after when those holding more than 1 acceptance have to commit somewhere and schools will know if they plan on committing to their school. then WL movements usually happens
Actually that's just when the option to commit opens, though it is the deadline generally to plan to enroll but that doesn't require you to give up your spots, each school requires commitment at their own date but it's usually June to July I believewhat I understand is we don’t know if majority of them have committed, so come April 30 and after when those holding more than 1 acceptance have to commit somewhere and schools will know if they plan on committing to their school. then WL movements usually happens
that makes sense. I was under the impression that April 30 was more of a mandatory decision date, but it's when schools begin getting a better sense of their yield via the plan to enroll tool and WL movement tends to pick up as schools get closer to their individual commit to enroll deadlines in June or JulyActually that's just when the option to commit opens, though it is the deadline generally to plan to enroll but that doesn't require you to give up your spots, each school requires commitment at their own date but it's usually June to July I believe
no. No response to emails, and their phone lines are always busy. Was anyone able to get in contact with admissions this week?
In for a long agonizing wait...June 12th seems so far away🥴- but I'm greatfulAlso FYI, movement may be slow starting May because of the shifted commit to enrollment date? People started hearing back late last year because of that. The commit to enroll date is now June 12th I think
Same here! But I heard Howard has a tendency to do this they send out mass rejections end of May 😭Same here, I’ve been just continuing to pray at this point ✨
