Anyone know what waitlist movement typically looks like year to year? Does it vary a lot?
At Howard an alternate list position is basically an acceptance. Miss Willam-Fowlkes said so. A lot of people they accept end up withdrawing to go to schools closer/more convenient for them. She said last year 90% of students got off the wl. You should be good to go

Here is what the cycle looked like recently. I got this from the first Friday with the deans 316/386 got an acceptance so basically congrats 🥳

Didn’t someone just say that 90% got off the alternate list last year?
I know 3yrs ago my friends boyfriend a graduate from Vanderbilt was WL at Howard and did not get in. He turned down Meharry took a gap year and got into Howard the next year. I want to ask him questions but they are not together. I wonder if you are WL and apply the next cycle, what is the process.

Just curious, is Howard a school that uses silent Rs or do they actually have pre-II R waves?

I’ve been reviewed since September and heard nothing since. I always kinda assumed I was gonna get rejected, but I’m still here w/o any formal R lol. Just wondering if it’s worth keeping an ounce of hope for this school or if I should just write this school off as an R.

Same thing happened to me and to my surprise I was interviewed last week.
