I sent the transcript req via natl clearing house on Saturday . Do you know how long it will take ? electronic should be quick right?
It should be quick but can take up to 30 days - mine took exactly that long to process when I sent them to TMDSAS. You're doing it early so if there are any hitches you have plenty of time to get it corrected 🙂I sent the transcript req via natl clearing house on Saturday . They will be sent to both. TMDSAS checks to make sure transcripts match your listed courses / grades on your application. I'm not entirely sure what McGovern is looking for outside of that - I assume they are making sure your prereqs are done and that you are set to graduate with the degree you listed on your application. This includes at least passing all of your classes but I cannot attest to how closely they look at grades.Do transcripts go to McGovern, or to TMDSAS? Do they only look at it to check if you got C or above in prereqs, got your degree, and you didn't fail any classes? Or, do they look at the courses you take, your GPA trend, Bs/Cs grades etc etc?

Thanks! What would you define as a sharp decline in grades?Send a copy of your transcript to each: TMDSAS and your Match school.
They will be checking the courses on your official transcript against what you listed on your TMDSAS application for accuracy, and looking at any new courses you have taken since you submitted your TMDSAS app.
A sharp decline in grades could raise your Match school's attention and they would probably contact you about that.
I remember you have asked this question a few times and sorry, I don't know what McGovern would consider a sharp decline. Thanks! What would you define as a sharp decline in grades?
I did it yesterday. I used the Transcripts & Other Records - Texas One Stop - University of Texas at Austin website and picked the physical mail option bc they have some weird pdf access code thing that I don’t think would have worked. On the application guide, tmdsas have a physical address that you can use along with a transcript request form you can email UTA’s transcript office.it seems like the transcripts sent directly to McGovern are due 8/1/2025, which means we probably need to finish the planned coursework for this semester and then report everything, am I interpreting this correctly? Also, any UT Austin students here that know how we can send transcripts to TMDSAS? Seems like parchment and national student clearinghouse are unsupported options, and UT just emails directly?
there is a Facebook group! Is there a groupme for admitted students?
No, That’s been there ever since the interview. Those of y’all who weren’t accepted, do you also see the option to send a letter of intent in the portal? Is this a sign that you’ll be put on the WL?
Would it be helpful to submit a letter of intent if not matched? Hoping for WLNo, That’s been there ever since the interview.
It’d be good to send one after receiving the WL email.Would it be helpful to submit a letter of intent if not matched? Hoping for WL
My plan was to send transcripts to TMDSAS ASAP since their email says to "send within 30 days of the request" and that "transcripts are only required for coursework completed by last Summer", and then send all updated transcripts at the end of this semester to McGovern since their due date is 8/1/2025.They will be sent to both. Just out of curiosity, I feel like most schools always say sending a letter of intent will not move your spot, so why send one? It’d be good to send one after receiving the WL email.
makes us feel better, like we tried to do somethingJust out of curiosity, I feel like most schools always say sending a letter of intent will not move your spot, so why send one?
I've heard from current students that McGovern likes vested interest, even if the school doesn't officially make any claims.Just out of curiosity, I feel like most schools always say sending a letter of intent will not move your spot, so why send one?
Same lol I had to double check to make sure I had 6 English credits and that they count AP creditsAm I the only one that is nervous sending in transcripts? I have double checked my coursework I listed on TMDSAS so much, and also made sure that I took all required courses in undergrad, yet I still feel worried that they will find something I'm missing lol. How often do applicants run into transcript issues with schools that jeopardize their offer?
TMDSAS will check your transcripts to see if they match your PCR. Additionally, schools check that you meet their prereqs before sending an interview in the first place. I happened to have a prereq missing from a school and they informed me of such to allow me to take the class during the spring to be eligible for an interview invite.Am I the only one that is nervous sending in transcripts? If your application says you are taking XYZ courses this spring but you take entirely different ones that could raise an issue and you'd need to reach out to TMDSAS / McGovern to make sure you're still meeting requirements, but if everything is the same as what you put on your application, no need to worry. Rest easy with your A in hand 🙂
it's been less than a week since Match Day, they take some time to think over their WL which does not encompass allHas anyone heard back for McGovern WL? Either IS or OOS
Seems like they're sending them out later than last year unfortunately 🙁 the last 2 years, they've sent out WLs either day of match or the week afterLooks like no WL for McGovern. How did they last year?
I don't imagine they will be making any decisions until after the deadline at the very earliest.Anyone finish McGovern's scholarship application yet? I know it's only been available for a week, but any idea of when we might start hearing back? Trying to not be neurotic and anxious over here, but not having much luck lol 😱
Yeah, probably so. The entering class checklist said that scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis, so I thought maybe we could hear something earlier than April 30. I'm just excited to get this show on the road, ya know?I don't imagine they will be making any decisions until after the deadline at the very earliest.
Ah, I definitely missed that. In looking through last year's thread I don't see any mention of a scholarship before the deadline but it's very likely nobody felt motivated to share that on SDN. It could be worth reaching out to the class president - their contact info is on the facebook page!Yeah, probably so. Not yet.Does anyone know of anyone getting waitlisted here yet? Cycletrack says someone did on match day, but I am curious if anybody on here knows of anyone since no waitlists have been reported here.

That’s why I don’t read cycletrackSomeone got waitlisted on match day and reported it? That’s surprising
MSAR says everyone who interviews is placed on the waitlist, but it could be wrong.Did anyone not get a waitlist offer?
The past few cycles it hasn't been all those who interviewed. I'd be surprised if they took this long to release the WL if it was just everyone.MSAR says everyone who interviews is placed on the waitlist, but it could be wrong.
