I'm sure they want to get their lists finalized ASAP. Last year, there were 10 ppl who posted here that they were granted IIs between May 17th and 21st! That is crazy late and only based on SDN posts, meaning there could have been more ppl who didn't post! I'm sure their AdComs were really unhappy about that. The year before, the last interview was April 5th or 6th.

In full disclosure, I wouldn't mind a repeat of last year because I'm still hoping against hope to receive that II! 🙂

During the info session today, they said they're now in the part of the cycle when there will be a lot of WL movement and numerous means of support for WL'd applicants; emails this week, phone calls next week, sharing expectations, and a WL Info Session in June.

For anyone who hasn't received an II, more communication will be forthcoming, but be open to the idea of reapplying.

Highly recommend going to the wait-list events if you can to express interest. It's not a guarantee, but it sure helps
