@chemislovechemislife does OMSII have dedicated board prep time? I've tried to find the answer to this, and I forgot to ask it during my interview this morning. Thanks!
i asked some of the second years, and it seems like there's variability - Students have to take boards by the end of May, so when exactly they take it is up to them. I believe the majority of classes are over mid april or so, so lets call it anywhere from 2-5 weeks based off how you schedule your exam.

I'm a little confused because the academic calendar says late June is the official end of year two. Do the majority of classes end before this, in mid-April, like you said? If so, how heavy is the class load between April and June? If you have to take boards by the end of May but the semester doesn't end until June, do you get any free time to really study? Any clarification on this would be a great help

Does anyone know what a typical weekly schedule looks like at UNE?? When I went for the tour in November students said lecture was optional and you were able to attend virtually, but I'm reading on various threads that lecture is mandatory, and you have to be on campus 5 days a week.
i got the schedule. DM me

My understanding, from what I was told, is that it's light. The second years are finishing their clinical skills evaluations this week and that alone gives back a lot of time, Im not totally sure on the lecture aspect of it to be honest. It says it doesn't end until June for those who may need to take their boards later due to performance issues but if all goes well then you'll be taking boards by the end of may.

Has anyone else been taken off the waitlist recently? Wondering if there doing it slowly before May
I just heard on Medical School HQ's YT channel that April 15th was a traffic day for AMCAS. Accepted students can't hold more than 3 acceptances. As applicants are forced to narrow their decisions, it should definitely be impacting movement at both DO and MD schools. I think that ACOMAS May 1 deadline will generate the biggest movement. Hang in there!!!

You also have to take into account that April 30th is the day you have to cut down to 1 acceptance in AMCAS so movement will happen first few weeks of May
