Had to put in my deposit and acceptance for the other school. Might be wrong but heard PCOM starts classes June 30th so I assume orientation is the week before which is three weeks away 🥲 Too short of a time crunch

Is that start date for new students or continuing students? Online it’s confusing saying continuing students start early summer while “many new students” start fall 2025?

I got an email like an hour after checking my portal and seeing nothing that I had an update and it was there! they also called me shorty after that. I sent two letters of intent, one before I was waitlisted and another after being on the waitlist for a few weeks because I had accepted a seat at another school in case I did not get into PCOM and wanted to make sure they knew it was still my top choice since they can see when you are holding another seat.

Also, second-year students are returning at the same time despite starting much later last year, so they are missing out on most of their summers.

WL 5/14, just checked my portal and my status bar has changed from having all 7 bars filled to a completely different bar that is color coded and now has an extra tab not filled in that says “Confirmed! Welcome to PCOM”. wondering if the site has just done some updates or if this actually could mean something?

I sent two letters of intent (one before I was waitlisted and one after the waitlist, when I went for a campus tour). I just expressed my interest (repeatedly) and made sure to connect with AdCom reps on campus
