2024-2025 Quinnipiac

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Maybe I should send one even though I have no major updates to report.
My update wasn’t anything major either. It had a short paragraph about why I liked their school and then updated hours on the activities I had listed in my primary with a small blurb explaining what I had been doing at each activity since primary submission

Wow thank you for the insight. I’d really love to attend here (long standing interest) so maybe it’ll help!

Would someone who interviewed mind sharing how long the interview day ran? I will have to catch a flight later that day and wondering how far I should push it when I rebook. TIA 🙂

From NE so I’m very excited. Would someone who interviewed mind sharing how long the interview day ran? I will have to catch a flight later that day and wondering how far I should push it when I rebook. TIA 🙂
huge congrats! I remember the schedule being really accurate. I think I finished around 2 or 3pm california time...? Although honestly I cant quite remember. If they've released the interview itinerary to you yet, check that!

Thanks a million! I’ll actually be in CA flying back to NE so that info is so helpful until they share the itinerary. Best of luck to you in your cycle!

Congrats!!

the day was very on schedule! If you're in group A, you do still have to wait until the end of the day for the final presentation. The final presentation went about 20 minutes past 4 EST

Any advice for the interview? I have one tomorrow and heard it's very laid-back and welcoming, but still nervous

just be yourself! review your app and prep some scenario-based questions just in case, but it's super laid back and i guarantee the second your first interview starts you'll relax a ton
Will do! And thanks so much, yeah it really seems like they just want to get to know you without pressure which is great!

How long does this school usually take for post-II decisions..?
I saw from last year's thread and some ppl heard back within a month or two around this time of the cycle.

Is this school running late giving decisions when they said they would? Or is it just me? And do I assume it’s an R?

Has anyone who was accepted submit the CSS form for institutional need based funding? There’s a fee to submit it which is kind of annoying but I’m between two schools and would like to know what kind of financial aid they can offer me. I reached out to them about fee waivers for those in the FAP but they were confusing and made it seem like it wasn’t necessary to fill out? Any insight would be appreciated!
Hi! Current student here - so the CSS is not required and unfortunately there is no fee waivers for those with FAP (I had to bite the cost last year) but I can say that as a FLI student I was offered a pretty decent package and also considered for other grants later in the year. The great thing is that once you do the CSS once you won't have to do it again during your 4 years here so I thought of it more as an investment for the 4 years.

Interviewed early December and still haven’t heard back yet. Is anyone else in the same situation?

I interviewed mid November! Same boat

Interview’s tmrw and I’m so nervous!! Is one with a student and the other with faculty? Just not sure how to prep for it

Just want to say I really appreciate the folks in this thread turning down IIs / As if they are accepted elsewhere they prefer. This is one of my top programs and still praying for a possible II!
I know it can be hard to turn down any opportunity, but if you know you're going someone else, please allow the spot to go to someone who wants/ needs it more.

I hope you hear something!

Does Netter accept letters of intent post II? It’s my clear number one and am currently waiting on a response post interview?

had the worst interviewer here - was racist, dismissive of my work, swore during the interview, etc. and I'm not sure if I should report. Thought he might have been stress-testing but unclear if that was the goal or if it was even the university's policy. The other one was really nice. Is it worth reporting or just accepting that one bad interviewer isn't going to be the end of the world?

Insanity, mine were both extremely pleasant, and I haven't heard of this from other applicants. Up to you about reporting, if you have other options then yeah I def would. If this is your only shot/your top top school, I would maybe hold my tongue because those accusations are going to be a he said she said and probably going to cause a headache that admissions probably doesn't want to deal with unfortunately

Honestly I can’t see this school stress testing and I would report it if you know you aren’t just misinterpreting things. My interviewers were the nicest I’ve had all cycle and all I’ve seen on this thread are nice things about the interviewers.

Report it. Don’t even think twice. This is uncommon behavior from Quinnipiac.
