i made this one! schools don’t make group chats for accepted students unfortunately

OOS II! I'm stressed bc there is only one interview date available right now, and I can't make it, does anyone know how long it will take for them to open up a new date?

Shoot them an email and let them know your situation. They'll probably let you know when they will open the next set of interview dates. Congrats!

I've been in the same boat for over a week now. they have not given me a date that I can do yet lol. they siad the dates open automatically so just need to wait until they open up

I may have missed this, but it seems like there have not been any Rs sent out by them yet, yeah? I was complete 8/12 haven't heard anything. Anyone else in a similar boat?

edit: From what others have seen, is this more likely a R that hasn't come yet, or I haven't been reviewed yet? (I know there's no way to tell for sure)

Don't know the answer to your questions but I am in the same boat and I was complete mid-July. Hopefully we hear something (positive) soon!
 
Does anyone know when decisions tend to go out? Interviewed in early October and getting antsy🐜

Did they mention anything during your interview?

They gave decisions at the end of Oct and end of Nov this year, so..... Maybe end of Dec is the next batch? Could be shifted d/t holidays though.

I don’t remember truly lol but I want to say they said it could be December or January? Just wondering what everyone else’s experience has been

i interviewed in early november and they said they were expecting to send an A wave before thanksgiving, another before christmas, and then they'd be coming more regularly in the new year. and that my group might hear with the december wave, but probably not until january if that helps!

makes sense! so maybe October people will hear back with the December/January wave too

im sorry to hear friend! It looks like they have a fairly high acceptance rate, including people pulled from the WL/deferred decision, so dont lose hope!

unfortunately you can hear back from now until the beginning of orientation week.

If you absolutely don’t plan on going to netter then I don’t know if it is worth it. If them giving you a huge scholarship would make you consider them then go for it

Congratulations on your acceptance! From my personal perspective, this seems like a viable strategy. But keep in mind that this is medical school admissions and not a job offering (which this strategy is usually employed in). If you know for sure you are not going to Netter, it would be better to offer your spot to another well-deserving and aspiring student. If you're on the edge between Netter and other schools, then it would be wise to offer the $100 and see what packages you receive! Best wishes!
 
Can anyone verify about the scholarship thing? I think I’ve seen similar things but don’t know how true it is

I'm an M2 now, but when I was accepted I received a scholarship from another school and QU matched the scholarship in three days of my email. Always ask for more money regardless of what school you got into
 
Sorry if this has already been asked and answered but do they accept pre-ii letters of intent?
 
Haven't heard anything from them; does anybody know if they still have interview spots open/if they're considering applicants?
