For my fellow interviewees, I am in a different time zone and want to confirm i have the time right for the info session because I thought it said something different on the portal but the Zoom link is telling me 9am PST. Is this correct?

Yes, Las Vegas is in the Pacific Time Zone due to its commerce ties with California.
Make sure to see what time that is in your zone.

Hi,

I applied Yesterday morning, received my secondary in the afternoon, and completed all my secondary essays yesterday as well. I took my Kira exam yesterday evening. Does anyone know how long it takes to mark it as complete? I know I am probably late to the game but I hope to have a shot at this school, I love their mission fit. I am (OOS no ties).

I completed my Kira/secondaries on 3/4 and was marked complete on 3/10! If you don't count the weekend it took 3 days. Also someone on the thread got an II with no ties but good mission fit so I think you have a shot!

I applied and no secondary yet? Is there anyone in this boat
Same but found out there was an issue with AMCAS for me that the school needs to address directly to view the verified application. I only found out when I emailed to confirm they actually received it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ don’t know if that’s a real issue or they’re waiting to reject me w/o secondary invite.

I’m thinking there will be around <200 interviews since there were 4 interview slots this month, maybe 4 next and maybe 2 in May. At 20 interviewees a session this should be around 200
Wouldn’t there be more next month? Since they only started interviewing halfway through March?

LM not the best 59. I believe my EC are great. Focus on education, mentorship and all the other essentials for med schools clinical etc
LM 60.5. Marked complete last Monday. No IIs. This school meant business when they said looking for high stats.

As a data point, LM 66 and no II as of now. Hopefully this changes haha

Edit, oos

I mean, people with high stats aren't going to apply if they have an A elsewhere. This is a new school they should interview applicants more holistically.
Realistically bc its a new school they need the first class to be strong academically wise bc schools get full accrediations based on board passing rates (if i remember correctly) but i do agreed i really hope holistic reviews are being given 🥲

Yeah but many high stat applicants are already accepted to other schools. So why choose Roseman now in March? Unless they are going to be free of course, but I don’t think that’s the case.

I agree, i’m really curious how many people would chose roseman over another acceptance with an established school. Also wonder how many of yll are actually willing to live in Vegas 🤣

it's a luxury to get an A anywhere and there's far too many applicants with 510+ MCAT's and no A's that are trying to get an acceptance during the cycle, despite it being rather late in March

also, Vegas looks like a great place to live, for me, I don't like living in very cold areas and Vegas has good weather and it's pretty close to CA

It will be very hot here (110+) when people who move in from OOS just fyi lol

It can get pretty hot but the winters are lovely temperature wise. Also, dry heat, none of that humidity. I stay indoors during the summer lol

Anyone submitted their II yet? It's been about 2 weeks since I did mine. How long did you have to wait for an interview?

I'm an in state student w very strong ties to Nevada

Applied 3/05. Been ~2.5 weeks. Still have not received a secondary, is there a chance I won't get one at all?
