When is it too late to submit for Tulane? Aiming to submit my secondary in the next 3 days. Received secondary about 7 days ago.

for those who submitted secondaries, how long did it take for tulane to receive them? a couple of mintues? or a couple of days

Immediately for me as well! Whether or not it gets reviewed in a timely manner is something else. They indicate on the portal when a screener has reviewed your app

guys for tulane, how do you check that they have recevied your LORs in their school portal?

Under status there is a box for letters of reference that should either have a green check or red X

Do they have to receive all letters you marked for them to receive before you're "complete," or is having a few sent in enough?

Just got verified today how long will it take for them to send me a secondary?

The application complete email for me says "Your portal will have a red exclamation point stating you are in progress and this will remain until you are assigned to a screener." Where do I find this red exclamation point exactly? I don't see it under the Status tab

Does anyone know when people started receiving interviews for Tulane last year? ED and RD?

did u guys submit a photo of yourselves to tulane secondaries

i dont have a suit FML
Does Tulane specify we need to be wearing professional wear? I believe most schools don't care what you're wearing as long as you look presentable. A nice button-down should probably be okay

I just received an email saying my application is complete and now under review, I completed on 7/4.

guys would being a math tutor and a crisis caller be considered as leadership? Should i list them?

all depends on how you frame it. personally, i think tutoring would be easier to work with.
wait wdym? So just include tutoring but nto the crisis text line responder?

I don't think the crisis text line responder could be counted leadership. It could be framed as clinical experience, but it doesn't sound like leadership unless you were in charge of a team of responders.

What about regular ole tutoring?

guys
I often woudl go to NOLA to visit faimly and there, I would volunteer with some orgs during my visits.
a seocndary question asks if i have volunteered abroad but i just realized by abroad they probably mean a poor country, not a canadian volunteering in the states while visting family, right? Should I answer no? Or did I understand the question correctly? does mine count anyways?

I dont think they meant volunteering in the states although, as a canadian, I suppose it would count. Tulane is big on global health and I think that's what they're trying to ask you about here.

I think that it technically counts, and I don't think they would look at it negatively if you put yes. While it may not be exactly what they're looking for, you have volunteered abroad and it's just more space to talk about that.

I'm going to assume this also includes week-long/month-long mission trips, right?
