this might be a question that was already answered but I got confused reading through the thread so just to clarify- if we see all green checkmarks on the portal does that mean "under review"?
under 'status' in the application portal! it lists LORs complete, MCAT received etc w green checkmarks next to them all, but I didn't get an email saying under review (just that my app was complete) so that I think answers my question 🙂where do u see any check marks? i received an email earlier this week saying i was under review
Same. In the email, they mentioned a red exclamation point, which I never saw anywhere. Does that mean we're both safe to assume we're currently under review?under 'status' in the application portal! it lists LORs complete, MCAT received etc w green checkmarks next to them all, but I didn't get an email saying under review (just that my app was complete) so that I think answers my question 🙂
So I think from previous years threads, this exclamation point is actually not in the portal and they haven't removed it from the email they send out.Same. I think so- according to the complete email, it is considered under review once your app is assigned to a screener.Submitted 7/3 and all I’ve received is that my app is complete. Does this mean no ones even read it yet?
It seems like people who were completed after me and are getting put under review. Does Tulane do rolling admissions or no?I think so- according to the complete email, it is considered under review once your app is assigned to a screener.
Crossing my fingers for you!just got an under review email, submitted secondary 7/8!
In my portal, it states that my letters of rec have been received when I click the tab and it shows my three letters, but my overall application says it is incomplete due to letters of rec not being received. Did anyone else have this issue?
They must have heard me because I just got an email confirmation, lolNope. Check your letters in interfolio or AMCAS and if it looks fine maybe email.
Submitted 7/5 and also nothing hahaSubmitted 7/11. Still not under review
Complete 7/3 still nothingSubmitted 7/5 and also nothing haha
Yesthe under review email is different from the complete email right? haven't gotten anything
Mine was also 7/11Submitted 7/11. Still not under review
NiceMine was also 7/11
I submitted 7/8!Submitted 7/11. Still not under review
good stuff my manI submitted 7/8!
There’s a separate email that is sent when an app is under review. I’m not too sure what there method for reviewing apps are since it doesn’t seem to be in orderI am a bit confused by the wording of the “complete” email. Is my app not under review until I receive an email telling me it is? The complete email makes it seem as though we won’t receive another email until a decision is made. Submitted 7/3 so I’m unsure why my app wouldn’t be under review yet:/
I don’t think this is true?I didn't realize that Tulane was a school you basically needed to submit super early in order to be considered. If I submit my app in early August, is that really bad
Tulane has rolling admissions, so the earlier the better. However, early august is certainly not too late. General rule of thumb is to apply prior to labor day.I didn't realize that Tulane was a school you basically needed to submit super early in order to be considered. I just read a lot of people saying that you had to treat Tulane secondaries "like a hot potato" and need to have a quick turnaround. That stressed me out lol I think I need to get off pre-med reddit for a little whileI don’t think this is true?
That’s interesting cuz I’m pretty sure i heard from their admissions team that submissions in August are perfectly acceptable and that it’s better to prioritize quality over early submission. Honestly who knows lolI just read a lot of people saying that you had to treat Tulane secondaries "like a hot potato" and need to have a quick turnaround. I reached out to admissions about this because their website says it is optional. They said you do not need to send your score in and it will not affect admissions.Does anyone know how important Casper is for Tulane? I got a bit cocky after last years Casper (scored in the 4th Q) and didn’t study at all for this years and scored in the 2nd Q 🙁 am I cooked?
From my limited knowledge, CASPER is rarely the sole determinant in admissions for the American schools that accept it (sorry Canada). For Tulane, I believe it is a very small tally in the overall calculation, especially since it is optional now.Does anyone know how important Casper is for Tulane? Keep your head up, we have a long road ahead of us this cycle!

i wore a lace dress nothing crazy i hope that'sok. the photo does cut off at the shoudlersDoes Tulane specify we need to be wearing professional wear? I believe most schools don't care what you're wearing as long as you look presentable. A nice button-down should probably be okay
