Im very curious, for others that have interviewed on your portal do you have all these options for document upload????????

True, well im curious if people not even interviewed have those options on their portal.... because to me it makes me think I already got A because why would they have those options unless they put that for everyone lol

Lmao I kinda wanted to wait till Tuesday before I popped my head back in here, but yeah I can totally see these options. Can anyone else post secondary or in the II phase also see these options? I refuse to take anything as a sign until its in writing man 😂.
 
I haven't gotten a secondary yet, do yall think I should call and ask for a status update or something or is anyone else experiencing a delay? I am a reapplicant for their school (I got a secondary last cycle)

First check old spam/junk mail folder and if it's not there-
email their admissions office, a short email saying something like
I'm Future_ DrAma and I applied to UH Fertitta but have not received a secondary application email.
I am very interested in completing the application to your school, could I have the opportunity to write the secondary?

I am also a reapplicant but our story is opposite. I have never gotten a secondary until this year. Also just to give you some insight, I was at another interview and found out many people also haven't gotten a secondary from UH so you arent alone.

If I remember correctly, UH does do screening prior to sending secondaries to people

That's valid, I guess I was just thinking since I got one last cycle, I wouldn't be screened out this cycle, especially I did a bit better on my MCAT this time around and I'm currently in an SMP.

Also question for TMDSAS Texas residents I am an OOS but interviewed back in august? Would they wait until Match is over to give me a spot or could they send now? It seems dumb to keep me waiting for months since I know they have had enough time to make a decision

They can make offers to OOS people any time after October 15th.
OOS applicants don't rank schools for the TMDSAS Match Day like Texas applicants do, you will consider your acceptances individually like for AMCAS schools.
 
They may want to include more interviews in the first batch since they started late this year. Last year, they had interviewed a lot more students to this point, so they were able to send on the first day. No one really knows whats going on behind the scenes, but I can imagine they are running a delayed cycle this year.

I remember they started sending out secondaries later this year (around August) vs. June in the previous years. I have a feeling it could be a while😭
 
Random question to you all but did anyone have like a hard time putting info in the first couple of question boxes on the secondary ? It was like a line instead of a box. I found that odd because it was hard to insert and review the info I put in.

Yes, I had to copy and paste and meticulously double check by moving one character at a time with my arrow keys🤣

When I tell you that CougarMed email scared the crap out of me...

Does anyone here go to those? I'm always working and can't make it. It says they don't affect admissions decisions but are they allowed to say that and then let it affect admissions decisions🤣? PS if anyone can go maybe they could ask about a prematch date I feel like that's an appropriate place to do it...

Nope, my app was transmitted on 6/4 and I've received secondaries from almost all TMDSAS schools already. From my understanding UH and Dell both pre-screen secondaries so that's why nobody has received anything from either school. They're just slower to the party

For in-state students, they can notify you anytime from 10/15/2024 until 2/14/2025 (match day) if you got accepted. If you ranked them highly and got put on a waitlist after match day, you may hear back until sometime in May or June if you got off the waitlist. There is no clear date or timeline for how long after an interview a decision will be released.

Also, you don't need to make three separate messages with identical text - you can quote multiple messages in one post.
