someone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but you won't hear about a rejection until match day/after match day. only acceptances will go out for now until 2/14/25

I do not think any prematches have been sent. Its just I was just saying that it could come today or tommorrow because they said that in their meeting last friday.

If no one has it then everyone is equal for a prematch.

If some have it and some dont we can wait a week to see if it makes a difference.

I have a random question that one of the long time docs on here or a current med student can fact check me for. UH states it screens for “qualified applicants”. Where is everyone getting the information they screen PRIMARIES for mission fit. Im sure they eventually screen for that for interviews. Im asking because I found this document like 2 weeks ago. I attached it to this message. It says this policy will stay in place until Dec 2025.

I think people say that because that is the only material you submit to the college before they send you a secondary. So, the only material they can physically screen for would be your primary application.

Yes but document states it screens primary based on aamc data, not mission fit.

Sure, but what contraindicates that is what is published on their website, where it states applications are reviewed for allignment with the mission. And the website is more up to date.

UH at one time was giving secondaries to all applicants but have determined it is too much work for 60 students. Now they prescreen.
