Does anyone know if schools take into consideration the May 15th deadline to send offers to those with one TMDSAS acceptance already? I hear people saying they recieve acceptances until June or even days or weeks before school begins, and I figured if schools wanted to get a student off the waitlist with an acceptance already, they'd do it within the next two weeks.

Schools are not geared to serve applicants needs but their own.
They act when they have openings - 2 people drop they have 2 openings and if no one drops they have none.
The dates are irrelevant except when they say we can no longer add because we are starting orientation and our class is final.

I'm going to say that they are well aware of this May 15th date.
Whether you get an offer, being a person who already holds a TX spot, will depend on how much they liked your application overall

Do they see that you hold a TMDSAS acceptance?

@PolarIceLongLastingFlavor did anyone convince you to stay? Or did you end up declining the A

Asking out of curiosity, how were you able to wait and withdraw today and not on the April 30th deadline to commit elsewhere and drop all remaining As?
That’s an AMCAS rule.
When you get a new offer from a WL you can take it and withdraw from your former seat

Can each of yall share your basic stats/background or is that TMI. I’m dying to know how much of a chance I have with the way the WL is moving so far

you first, newbie 🤣
At this stage of the cycle it's not your stats (those may have been what got you to the interview) but the total impression of stats, CASPer, and how you presented yourself on the interview day.

;-; this fourth quartile casper and similar-ish stats (slightly below) and 2 pubs aint help me either...

It is not always about numbers during waitlists. The schools try to come up with certain balance to the class and so they add students that provide that role off the waitlist.
Don't take these decisions personally (their numbers didn't make the difference and your numbers most likely wont).
you right, it is what it is
