Did anyone else have a heart attack thinking the joint degree program email was post-ii decision

Anyone else interview 12/10 and hoping for a decision this week? I am nervous haha 🙃

I just got accepted into Wake Forest!!! In the acceptance letter they mentioned I had 2 weeks to provide a yes or no. How binding is this answer? I am still waiting to hear back from other schools and would like to make this decision later.

It is not binding in any way.

Does anyone know how similar the Open House event is to the Second Look event? Has anyone attended the one held in December?

Pretty much just said ‘Thank you for interviewing- For more information on potential joint degree program’ and then linked to a webpage.

Instead of spamming every school page, you can check out sites like admit.org and cycletrack to see live data on interviews and decisions.
i tried using cycletrack but it was so confusing, what do u look for on those pages

If you go to School Explorer and search for an individual school, it will provide graphs with the current and previous cycle progress.

I find admit.org 's interface easier to understand so I use that more frequently. There's a "live cycle updates" tab that shows II amongst other things

For cycle track, just look at the graphs for the 2023-2024 cycle to see what each school did last cycle. That will tell you when they typically wrap up interviews.
You can look at the current cycle graph (2024-2025) to see when the last time they sent out an interview invite for this cycle.
The legend is at the top of each graph (so purple = interview, green = acceptance, etc.).

Here is the link to the school explorer page: School Explorer
Hope this helps!

Not everyone posts on Cycletrak or Admit and he has every right to inquire on as many school pages as he chooses. Anyone who doesn't like that can eyeball the posts and move along. It is extremely unkind not to understand that not everyone has an A, let alone II's, and people handle the pressure differently.

You do not owe anyone an explanation or apology for perfectly reasonable inquiry on a board designated for that very purpose. Hang in there, bro. I am sorry the process is so awful and that schools ghost people so rudely and many are not clear about their timelines and so on. Good luck!

Tough choice tbh, I'm leaning towards the Winston Salem Campus but are there any stand out differences besides location between the two campuses?

A main difference for me was Charlotte campus is mainly problem based learning, whereas WS has a mix of traditional lecture and problem based

I asked in the Q&A part of the interview what percentage PBL/small group learning was for each campus- for Winston Salem they said 10% and for charlotte they said it’s “a really large part.”

The Charlotte campus doesn't have cadavers for anatomy lab, whereas, Winston-Salem still does, right?
