Probably email admissionsThis is probably a silly question, but how do I withdraw an acceptance for WF? I can't find an option to in the admission portal...

I was just sleuthing on last year's chain, it looks like they release WL As early May onwards once a week (last year it was on Fridays, not sure if that trend will continue)Has WL movement historically happened for Wake Forest on May 1st or early May, or do they usually wait until later in the month? Hoping for sooner movement!
How do you know this for sure? They told me I will know once accepted. Does not help with planning at all. 😏Orientation is July 10th and 11th and classes start the 14th
I’m not positive about white coat, I think it’s also in later July though based on last years schedule.

Plus, no idea if both campuses are doing it at same time and whether having their own White Coat events. The white coat reception is July 10th and the white coat ceremony is July 11th! I don't know the difference between those two events, but those are the dates they gave us. 🙂
This is not true for CLT campusThe white coat reception is July 10th and the white coat ceremony is July 11th! I don't know the difference between those two events, but those are the dates they gave us. 🙂

LITERALLYYYYThat email got my heart rate going
Think I just lost 5 years of my life from that emailThat email got my heart rate going
maybe im delusional but I still feel like there's a chance? they could always send acceptances out before and make campus assignments a few days laterSo I'll go out on a limb and say this means that we prob aren't getting any decisions today....
I feel like this has no effect on when we will get decisions. They said in email that they will assign us to one either way if the one we requested isn't available. Also, doubt it takes very long to adjust what campus we attend on their end once they decide to send us an A.So I'll go out on a limb and say this means that we prob aren't getting any decisions today....

Yes!Off the WL? Congratulations
Thanks! Got it yesterday around 6 pm. It said in the email that the campus will be assigned within 2 days.Congratulations!!!! When did you get the email yesterday?
Prob won't hear anything for another week :/Congrats! Did anyone else hear yesterday? Do we think this means we won’t hear again until next Monday?
Was just about to type this out! I think you're spot on.From previous years on SDN it seems like it’s once a week, usually the same day as that first offer week (so every Monday for us), I assume because the ones they offered last week will have to make a decision within the week and then they’ll know how many offers they can send/who else to send the next round of invites to by that following week.
Correct me if I’m wrong please!

From what people are asking, does anyone know if this school only notifies about WL once a week in batches or does so randomly too? It takes 25-30% of incoming class of WL so I am wondering how that plays out. Cycletrack didn't show much.
Congrats! That may be a question to ask the school. I am not sure about merit but all needs based scholarships require CSS and fafsa to be completed and then they decide what amount you get based on that.Got an A off the waitlist yesterday. I have a week to accept or withdraw. Does anyone know typically how/when/where I can see my financial aid info for this school?
I tried to call and find out once but they never pick up the phone and I was scared to leave a message. lolDoes anyone know if they let students know where they stand on the waitlist?

Makes sense. Thanks for the infoTake this FWIW but I heard from a friend who goes there that they do not have a ranked WL (except anyone who didn't upload a letter of interest is not in the same general batch they will initially look at to fill a spot that has been turned down). I also heard they are well aware of which WL applicants are not showing that they plan to attend elsewhere, so basically letters of intent don't sway them anyway.
