Just uploaded a letter of interest. Anyone have any thoughts about Wayne vs MCW? Similar costs (Wayne might be a little cheaper actually), Wayne has mixed exams, MCW is p/f vs Wayne as H/P/F. Both with home hospitals.

biased as a MI resident but I’m choosing wayne over MCW, I really like the midtown area too since I went to wayne for undergrad haha

The timeline page on their website says "Interviews August 2024 - February 2025" so I'm 99% sure they're done

I signed into the Wayne portal but yea my application has been ready and I see no updates. I actually don’t see a communication section but there’s no notifications, and nothing under status update 😭 should I email the office?

I got Need-based, which I am thankful for, but the package is still a tough pill to swallow. I think it's odd that we're supposed to CTE and hope we get more aid? I am confused about that.

Current M2 here. I think I mentioned this a few months ago but WSUSOM's admissions committee significantly overshot the class size for the class of 2028 (326/300 students, for reference). Thus, while this is purely speculation, I would personally expect them to hand out fewer A's this year than in previous years. There's been a number of issues with how large our class has been and I'm guessing they're not looking to repeat that for another year lol

And yeah, that's exactly what happened last year. They expected people to choose elsewhere so they handed out a surplus of A's. Then everyone chose Wayne 😆
