For those who have already interviewed here, any advice? Is it open file? The invite didn't give much information.

I see that many reported having good experiences, so happy to see that.
Interviewed here back in beginning of October, honestly the interview will really depend on the interviewer. In my experience, they may or may not be knowledgeable about your application/ask questions from it. Also, you can expect to have very question-heavy or extremely conversational interviews (like only one genuine question). Again, this will depend on the interviewer. Honestly there wasn’t really a trend, just come prepared knowing your file and a lot of interview prep.

Thank you for taking the time to share that with me! I appreciate it.

i interviewed here yesterday and it was one of my best experiences this whole cycle. the interview was super conversational and you can really tell that they read your application in depth. i really hope i get in and i hope this helps to ease some anxieties for future interviewees!

Just to clarify is that last day they’re sending out invites or last day interviews happen?
We will have to wait and see, but based on old cycletrack trends it is likely the final interview day. IIs will most likely be all sent out this month

Hi everyone, I am thinking of sending an update letter (post Interview). I usually include one paragraph of interest (in addition to my updates) but it seems based off the wording that they solely want updates in the letter?

"You may send us occasional, substantive application updates if appropriate...Please do not include other queries or information in the email"

I am wondering what others think/did? Thanks!

I sent a letter of interest with a few updates (first paragraph indicating interest). But I haven’t received an interview but I’m sure it’s not much diff

any thoughts about sending a letter of intent here? or would it not really matter. I've already sent two updates throughout the cycle so thinking i chill lol

I emailed them today and they told me they are still interviewing through the end of February. So there is still a little time left!
Does that mean they’re not releasing decisions in late February?? 🙁

i interviewed here in the middle of jan and it’s currently my top choice. is it too early send a letter of intent? would it even make a difference?

Letters of intent sent before an admission decision is even made is unlikely to impact the outcome. Most send while on the waitlist.
What makes you say that? I assume most send while on the waitlist because, at that time, the cycle is mostly over and they aren't holding out on any more IIs. They can then send an intent letter without any regrets.
