I’m confused about the academic calendar. When is the first day of classes for the class of 2029 (if I’m accepted this cycle, I’m in the class of 2029 right?) I know orientation is in the summer but I can’t find the date classes start. Trying to know when is the last possible moment to sign a lease because I’m on a bunch of MD school waitlists 😔

Orientation and classes usually begin the last week in July.

Orientation is July 21, it usually lasts three days, and then classes start Thursday of the same week. But orientation is mandatory, so basically plan to start July 21.

Are the interviews are done for this cycle? It is 2 weeks since the secondaries are submitted so wondering if they are still doing the interviews.

It doesn’t seem like it’s ranked. They said movement starts in April and goes all the way until the day school starts (July 21). Waitlist movement changes every year
