orientation week is quickly approaching and I am getting anxious...
 
Wondering the same thing. The class group me is at 300+ students, have a feeling we might be cooked
 
Nothing from me either but movement is supposed to be happening so maybe for people who aren't on this thread
 
Hi everyone. Ive been watching this thread since for months so thought I would post for encouragement. I was just accepted to Rowan today and am for sure matriculating here. I received an email then a call from my interviewer shortly after about noon which was a really nice touch from the school. My stats are a 507 and 3.5 GPA (3.1 first 2 years 3.9 Last 2 years). I have now withdrawn from the NYITCOM waitlist in addition to my acceptance at LECOM Seton Hall which may open up spots for you all. Keep hopes up waitlists are still moving!!!

Congrats! Around what time did you receive the A? And when did you interview?

Interesting. I been seeing some applicants getting accepted between this timeframe. I'm happy you got accepted my comrade.

Guys if anyone is accepted last minute or still looking for housing, in a group me chat I see 2 students are looking for a last minute roommate as someone just got accepted to a different school, so he wouldn’t be going to Rowan. It’s an 3 bedroom unit in a desirable development. Amazing location, only 5 minutes from Stratford and about 20 from Sewell. 1 PBL and 1 SGL student are in and ready to sign. i was told by an adcom that they will finalize the class by july 4th. Waitlist movement should increase afterward.

I think by finalizing, they will total the number of students who are attending and those who are committed to another school but haven't withdrawn from Rowan/no-shows, and take students off the waitlist to fill the difference. However, this is my speculation. In previous years, there have been acceptances up to orientation. During my meeting, the adcom asked if I can commit to Rowan if they call/email me the day before the orientation.

gotcha, just wondering if they were prioritizing those without current acceptances or not. At least the last few recent acceptances were the same as you. hmmm 🤔

Do they have access to that information? Like how many acceptances you have? I didn’t know schools could see that, or is it because people tell them

Yea at this point in the cycle, DO schools can see your current DO acceptance through AACOMAS.

From what I’m told, AAMC and AACOMAS doesn’t communicate with each other but I’m sure schools might have unofficial ways to find out, but someone would prob take the MD A anyways before that even becoming an issue.

I didn't get an email but I got a call asking the same thing instead, and if I committed to another school already. Did anyone else get a call?

i also just got the call to see if am willing to accept a seat for another track. The call is around 11:54CST.
