I bet there’s still movement over the next several weeks. Accepted students at this point have two weeks to accept and do the drug test/deposit/etc which isn’t that long

Those of y'all who were accepted after Applicant Day, do you feel actively participating in the discussion and asking thought provoking questions helped out at all with making their decisions? I feel as if they already have a pretty good idea of who their going to A/R/WL prior to applicant day, but idk if driving home the fact that I'm interested in attending CUSOM w/ my questions meant anything or not, my day was 3/10.

I think most likely interviewing for waitlist. I had my applicant day on 02/25 and just got waitlisted today. Since the last acceptance was sent out on 02/19, according to cycle track, I feel like they probably are interviewing for the waitlist, but they're known to have a lot of waitlist movement, especially towards the end of the cycle, so I wouldn't lose hope just yet!

Yes. I toured last week and students get an issued commuter to take exams on, most students still have their personal device for notes.

M3 here Just to give new incoming applicants the head-ups; a lot of our old facility have been headhunted by the new medical school by Methodist University in Fayetteville and the residency programs there no longer associate themselves to Campbell. Not sure what effect this would have, just FYI.

For those who have done Applicant Day, what did you feel they were looking for? I know it's a day to ask questions and to learn more about the school, but how do they pick applicants? I have mine on April 1st and feel somewhat uneasy. Thank you!

I don’t know if anyone has a clear idea how or what they judge Applicant Day on besides the admissions staff themselves.

If I had to guess, they weigh primary and secondaries apps more heavily, and just use the Applicant Day to get a general feel for how interested you are in the school. I don’t think they care so much about how many questions you asked (I only asked 2), but asking questions that show some thought and intent behind them.

Definitely the least stressful interview I’ve had. Have a couple good questions, and even when you don’t have a question or youre waiting to ask, try to show that you’re listening. Good luck!

I think at this point in the cycle those who are getting invites for the Applicant Day are for waitlist/possible rejection, I think earlier in this thread I saw a rejection after the applicant day.
