Im applying for the 2025-2026 cycle and Campbell is my #1 school. Im OOS but live in the southeast (Florida). cGPA: 3.03 sGPA: 3.00 SMPgpa: 3.9 all with upward trend MCAT: 515. Any advice on what my chances would be?

Purely off that, it seems like a competitive app espc with that MCAT. Obviously PS, LORs, and ECs all matter and contribute a great deal, especially if they elaborate on any upward trend

I’ve also got nothing to do w admissions anywhere so take this w a grain of salt

I think my personal statement is pretty good, and have strong LORs and EC (2000+ hrs as medical assistant, DO shadowing, rural community clinic volunteer, part of club that passes out food to the homeless, and tutoring refugees). I just has a rough sophmore year (a couple D, F and W) but my last 70 credits + SMP were ALL A's with 1 B+. Just hoping I dont get screened out

I wouldn’t personally bring upon application status, just use it as a moment to ask questions and show interest. Maybe send a thank you email after and hint at hoping to know more soon?

I was accepted off the waitlist about 3 weeks ago. I wore business casual when I toured. Highly recommend writing a letter of intent- I was accepted less than 24 hours after submitting one

Our accepted group chat has a 120 members right now (a handful of them being current cusom students) so I expect there to be more acceptances to be made since the class size is around 150. That’s assuming everyone accepted so far joined the chat. Plus lots of MD waitlist movement is happening right now, so there will be more students leaving the chat within the next few weeks I’m sure.
