+1 OOS II, also wondering about their fin aid/scholarship history as I wouldn't really consider them at full tuition

did anyone from jan phone II hear back for a virtual II? this is kinda my only shot at MD

Did anyone else get invited to apply to the MBS program? Was wondering if they extended the invite to everything who got the pre ii rejection or if it was a select few. This just brought back a sense of hope for me!!!

I also received it

I got it too and they said it was a few MD
I also got this.. Part of me wants to believe that they only extend it to some but some part of me believes that it’s everyone.. It’s hope tor sure but I don’t know if I’ll apply since I have a DO acceptance.

oh yeah FS, I’m waitlisted at western U CA, have II’s from DMU, Touro CA, AZCOM, ICOM

if I get into any of them I’m not gonna apply to the MBS

I literally just finished my interview to ICOM. Got the email for WMed in the middle of it. My thing is that the DO A that I have does not have federal funding for loans and if this is a full-tuition program, would it be worth it to delay med school by a year to apply to this for a guaranteed MD admission? Just thinking out loud since we both seem to be in the same boat.

+1 SMP invite. Tbh I actually do think it’s a small group of people they invited bc like why would they re-review all those rejections for a cohort of 6-10 MBS kids…. Also I sent in my aamc ID and daniel responded in like 4 minutes (which would be impossible if like 3000+ rejected applications got this invite)
that's a good way to think of it hahah

Yea also everyone doesn’t have the dropdown so I think it’s a bit more selective.

my friend says smp says conditiional acceptance too if u complete (free tuition i think too). so i think its worth even if gpa and mcat was decent

What should you all include in the email?

Anyone know how many people have been accepted (for example how many people are in the accepted GroupMe)?

GroupMe has like 90, could be higher idk there are some current students in there
damn really? how do you know?
I don’t have a solid number, neither does anywhere else so it’s just conjecture. But considering they interview ~500 and their class size is 86, a safe assumption is there accept twice as many students so around ~170-180. That’s 36%. Just my thoughts tho

wheres the groupme, can i have the link?

Sorry to hear that. If the committee meeting was yesterday, where are the acceptances and other decisions?

Does this school accept letters of intent? I just got rejected from my state school and I'm terrified. Can I get any solace from being waitlisted here?

Did anyone who interviewed yesterday catch that our decisions would be given on the 5th? I'm assuming he meant the 5th of April, not March right? Based off his tone though it seemed like it was going to be sooner rather than later.

I’m sure he meant 5th of March. I interviewed on a Friday in December and our decisions came out the following Wednesday.

He definitely said this Wednesday, which I appreciate the quick turnaround
