I don't think they're being evaluated. The fact that the recordings are available afterwards shows that it's just there to be informational.
yes they're only for people who have interviewed. for the most part its just a chill presentation about different aspects of the school, like financial aid, life in New Haven, etc. nothing you cant learn from the website tbh

Yeah they usually finish sending IIs before the winter holidays and they wrap up interviews this week and next.
It’s usually advised to wait until a WL to send a LOI unless the school specifically asks for them (Mayo)!

They do need based only from what I understand. They make the commitment that you will only walk out with 40K in loans essentially with their financial aid program
At one of the information sessions the lady said they do give out a few merit-aid scholarships
I did not receive anything of the sort (I also sent a post interview update).
Unfortunately, Yale is done sending interviews 🙁
I thought as much, but that's still a bummer. I've only heard pre-II Rs so far and am starting to lose hope.
