Is anyone else able to access the portal? I went to reset my password so I could login, but I still haven't received the "reset password" email

+1 OOS -> Does anyone know if you're supposed to receive an "Application Complete" email after submission?

Edit:
Received

OOS, LM 69, submitted secondary 7/14 and haven't heard anything since. Any II?

I understand others have commented about it earlier, but should I be concerned if I never received an application complete email notification after submitting my secondary (about a month now)?

2 questions for those with an II. First, how do we schedule that virtual discussion with the current med students? Second, are we supposed to get any sort of confirmation email once we set our interview date/time (my portal says "your interview is scheduled" but I never received any confirmation)? I emailed the admissions office about this, but haven't heard back yet

There is an email address for you to contact regarding the student session, just tell them when you are available and they will reply. I did get an email about an interview reminder with all of that info about a week before my interview.

did you end up emailing them? I submitted mine 3 weeks ago and still haven't received a confirmation email

Has anyone attended one of the student information sessions yet? If so, do we use the same Zoom link as our interview, or will they send us a new one on the day of/the day before the info session?

+1 OOS II MD/PhD

(For those curious, it's first an MD only II. If accepted, they forward your app for consideration to MD/PhD)

Does anyone know if they email or call for decisions? Also, did they say decisions start coming out today, or did I mishear that at my interview?

I got a call this morning for the A, and received the email a couple of hours later!

OOS A! No call but got the email a few minutes ago!

Has anyone who interviewed in the last 2-3 weeks received a decision yet?

Not yet. They said on my interview date that they plan to make decisions either this week or next week after their Tuesday meetings. We're allowed to follow up with them after the 18th or 19th if we still haven't heard back.

Good info- thank you Prosecco and 2016. I was told a decision in 1-2 weeks on my interview day ~3 weeks ago, so wanted to get a sense of where they were before following up with them. Anxiety reaching all-time highs waiting on this decision lol

Post-II WL OOS. In their email, they say this blurb:

"Our class is currently full due to a limited number of seats, which is why we are placing you on our waitlist. Being on the waitlist highlights that the committee views you as an excellent candidate and a strong fit for our program. Your application will remain active for consideration as spaces become available."

Anyhow, anyone know if they take people off the wait-list?

Yes, There will be a lot of waitlist movement and most of it during april-may. This school is low ranked MD school so early admits will most likely have offers elsewhere which they find better.

OOS A yesterday. Keep your head up 2016, good things coming for you. Prosecco, I'd recommend browsing the 23-24 and 24-25 Marshall threads, you can get some insight there as to when WL begins to move. CycleTrack can provide you with some data as well, though take it with a grain of salt as only a small percentage of applicants log their data on there. Best of luck my friend. Go Herd!!

Just withdrew my interview slot and application - hope it goes to another deserving candidate this cycle. Best Wishes.

Does Marshall accept letters of interest/update letters?

So does this mean that everyone who interviewed after you is gonna get waitlisted? I feel like having a class filled by early November is unheard of.

Perhaps. There may be some who do get accepted (this may have been just an WL email written to not be as disappointing).

But if I read past sdn threads correctly, I recall that anyone interviewing in mid November or beyond were interviewing for the WL.

I just got the email about uploading my interviewee agreement form and ID. Once I do this, do I then get another email to schedule? Also, it seems odd that they are interviewing, considering the above post says their class is full. Very confusing messages lol

Wondering the same thing. I also got this email

I'd still treat the interview as if you have an equal chance as I did in regards to getting in, WL, or rejected.

However, I remember they scheduled my interview automatically when sending the interview invite email. Perhaps email them to confirm your interview date?

Yeah, I'm going to reach out because I feel like it might have been a mistake lol... My email just said I was invited to take the next steps with my app. Then I logged in, and it was the interviewee agreement. So I never got the traditional interview invite email like from other schools.
