I personally submitted an LOI in January with some updates. I ensured that my updates tied back to my reasons for choosing MCG as my #1 pick, though. Is that the correct thing to do? Idk.

Yes, but it took a few months after my acceptance for them to send it out

Yes they do, it takes a little bit though. They'll assign you everything you need for single sign-on through email.

They are apparently having a meeting to discuss their preliminary accreditation in February to March time frame. Whether or not they receive it at that time is up for discussion.
