Looking at last year on med.admit.org, they still accepted people in April and May! My guess would be some of those people are off the waitlist so don’t lose hope!!

Two years ago they took 75 off of a 300 student waitlist. The data for last application cycle is not yet available.

After my interview, they sent an email with the subject line "UM Miller School of Medicine Document Collection Available in Applicant Gateway" and my portal was then updated with a new link to upload an update letter/LOI

Hey all, current UM student here. Just wanted to officially announce that for anyone who's been accepted/waitlisted and is considering Miller, they officially announced today that they're doing away with quartile class rankings effective immediately. Clerkships will still be graded and scores still contribute towards AOA eligibility, but a welcome piece of news that brings us in line with many schools nationally.

This is from their post interview email: "Application Updates: For any updates that you wish to be included in your file, we encourage you to use the document upload area of your applicant gateway. Notably, updates are not required. Keep in mind that this is a one-time use area and we encourage you to leverage it when there are significant updates to your file. "

• so it seems like you can probably email them a letter of intent or any additional documents but not upload it to your portal if you've already uploaded one
