A Lighthouse, A Man, A City...A BioShock WW Game

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm temped to go that way, but I wonder if we are misinterpreting that.

Cray is the only one we know is silenced. The other two are silent by nature...
Still gonna say it makes no sense to give lurkers a pass and go for who you think is village.

If this lynch had gone differently, very well could have killed an active villager instead of a lowposting wolf.

I wonder if Kata was silenced and just forgot to come on and put in a vote. I don't know if that's AI.

Yesterday was like a minor vacation from WW, not having any responsibilities whatsoever (although I did read the thread) that I almost forgot today was vote except I checked the thread.

I would hope a wolf would be less likely to snooze through a deadline with a pack depending on them, and I'm wondering if they were trying to save Kata and had her strategically miss deadline, or she wasn't going to miss deadline but then when it was clear there was no saving Alley she stayed off everyone to play up the missed cycle by accident thing. The main thing that would answer this is whether or not she gets a mod spanking, so the question is, could it be a spanking and one we wouldn't be privy to?

This might be getting into the weeds of theories now. Just needed to think that through out loud.

Good move
Please explain not only your 360 on me, but your supreme enthusiasm for up to 2 villagers to die with a wolf? Or were you seriously wolf reading all 3 of us? Did you really think the 3 wagons were all wolves? Especially with the mechanics theory you guys had? You had no thought in your mind about about a villager being silenced after mkg?

If my village reads weren't reading you so village....

AM, genny, Dina, are you really sure about Lawper?

And Lawper if you're village, you're forcing me to have to overlook some funny thinking and anti-village play. Knock it off.

Did this make the cut?

We were better off with the 3 way
How so? RNG could have spared Alley and killed me, and you'd be down a villager and a day off of killing the wolf blocker. Or as I've said you could have lost 2 villagers for that wolf if Kata is village. Please explain how all that is better?

It gives less info than when someone breaks a tie involving a wolf wagon. You surely must see all this. I know everyone is super excited we got a wolf, but we need to put that aside for a minute and look for the rest of them in some of this bad behavior.

I am so anti-tie you don't even know.

My tie loving ass is so happy for all the chaotic energy we just experienced. Thanks for the entertainment. I had a long day.

I'll yeet your ass for this I don't even care if you're dead or not playing.

feel like there are a lot of people around here that would vote someone just to get a tie for whatever reason
This is why most of the time the person who votes OR unvotes creating the tie is subject to possible death. It is seemingly the only thing that stops people acting on their idiotic pro-tie behavior a lot of the time.

IT APPEARS SOMEONE TRASHED THE VENDING MACHINES IN ALL THE CHAOS. NO ITEMS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE TONIGHT. SHAME.
Call me paranoid but I wonder if this is subconscious mod punishment vs Kd's net not working vs someone has an ability related to canceling the vending machines for people.

That wasnt after the deadline , that was exactly at deadline that wasnt taken into account because according to someone's rules a vote at exactly the deadline isnt taken into account. You cant possibly claim I had put my vote at that time on purpose coz I didnt want it to be unaccounted
I want to hear your reasoning on why this can't possibly be the case, and it's an impossible claim.

Exactly what Im saying , if they were waiting for public confirmation , why would they potentially jeorpadise the whole thing by making making mayo vote Zenge?

wdym by vote was during 35th hour , why does that matter
Why would ALL the wolves be on or off? Why wouldn't they spread them out to be less obvious?

At some point, the seer's gonna out the result. Around 9:30, mayo finally voted when Zenge was now almost leading wagon. Do you think it'd look worse to be on or off the vote at this point, knowing the seer will out within the next 30 minutes?
Wolves, especially noob wolves, do impulsive vote things without talking to the pack, all the time. Like Sunny in Breadsticks. This especially can happen with bussing.

Yes , its totally possible that I collaborated with the mods closely asked them if a vote exactly at deadline would be taken into account just so I could argue later that I actually voted for alley because I knew in advance that alley would be the one who would be offed at the 3 way

This wasnt just normal bussing , they had info. Do you think wolfchat went something like this

"So we know that Zenge has been seered , what do we do?"

"Nothing , except one guy sits on him precariously before seer reveal so that this one guy can be tred later on"

I would like to hear some good theories on why alley voted Cray instead of kata , that doesnt make any sense to me . Only possible explanation is that kata is scum and alley really didnt think this through

Ya I will, should be able to do both in the next hour or so
Sorry y'all, fell asleep while typing. Got a couple things to take care of this morning but I'll try to get the other writeups done soon after night close.

unvote cray , vote alley
This felt weird. If you read the rules it could have been a last second “look like I’m voting for a wolf but do it at the last second so it’ll look like I was trying and win village points”

ok guys, I have about 10 pages to catch up on because I thought there wasn’t going to be a need for a sub and got proven wrong.

This is easiest answer:
1) could have been at 6-6-6 when she voted, since it was in PMs and things happened pretty fast on thread

If Cray is a wolf:
2) purposeful lynch to take suspicion away from Cray and still die (because if anybody other than wolf blocker flipped we'd still be looking for that role), just screwed up slightly by all the on thread action so ended up in a tie.

If kata/sam is a wolf:
3) trying not to take them out before the wolf blocker flip (because again, we would still look for the blocker).

It's harder if it's true they could only lynch once, because we don't know exactly what the votes were on the table at the time their pm went out.

Athena's Glory was a little project of mine, and Fontaine has set himself to destroy it with all of you inside. I invested far too much time and effort to allow it, and you seem to be doing a great job of putting his efforts to rest. I didn’t escape mainland China just to have my fortune crushed by some upstart that fancies himself an engineer. May be able to get some of you pointed in the right direction, though I fear even eliminating his men might not get you to the bathyspheres safely or in time.

At no point it was 6-6-6 it was 6-6-5 after my switch and 6-7-4 before that

Why does this make me feel doomed?
I would say less "doomed" and more "uncertain." Fontaine set quite the trap for you in my little neck of Rapture. Your abilities may not be up to par in your current state, especially considering your short supply of ADAM, but I digress. It would be much appreciated if you could stop his imploding of my little slice of heaven, if you would. After all, your lives depend on it.

A little of it depends on knowing how the mods would handle a tie.

If I knew they'd smite everyone on the tie, I'd be ok with losing 2 villagers to get 1 wolf. Given a typical 1:4 ratio of wolf:villager (is it still around there for SDN games?) that's a good trade.

If they are going to rando it, that's a bad deal because you don't get to decide who to flip to get the most info.

At least, that's how I feel abou tit.
