I know people have to catch up, but it clutters the thread so much when we're on page 24, 20ish minutes from yeet, and people are posting responses to things said on like, page 6. It's not reflective of the current gamestate and I don't think it's actually very helpful as a result.

I know that's an unpopular opinion, but this thread is growing like crazy because of stuff like that.

I'm just hoping it doesn't end when the clock strikes 10. It's extremely hard to get a good feel from the out-of-sync stuff in combination with never catching up.

Lost the post but someone, I think chaos, was sketched out by Lawpy tinfoiling and mechanics speculation. From anyone else I'd be right there with you, but that's just what Lawpy does.


From you, however... hm. Does anyone else remember to what extent baseless (I don't mean this pejoratively to your speculation, I just mean there's been nothing in-game to prompt it and it isn't contributing to wolfhunting) mechanics speculation is part of mayo's village play and wolf play?

Mostly having PM groups linked to locations. The Hannibal game was set up in a similar way. There was a wolf pack and a 3P psychopath (who ended up winning).

The areas are also the levels in the first Bioshock game, but multiple factions (Ryan, Fontaine, Tanenbaum) would fit with the game really well.

Now that I've made it this far, I can actually comment and answer your question with all of the necessary context. Honestly, it still seems like typical pleasy. I would expect more analysis, but I understand what she's saying. I'm not sure if it would be orchestrated but I tend to agree with her that AM is leaning more wolfy than April at the moment (caught up through mid-page 12). Their arguing could easily be v/v and I kind of doubt that it would be orchestrated in wolf chat since it seemed pretty organic and spontaneous, not coached/rehearsed.

So how are you actually reading it beyond just saying it could be any combination of v/v v/w besides w/w?

also mayo (in the one game I remember playing with them) gives me wolf vibes... often... I mean day one... "The Lord forgives everything. But I’m just a prophet, so I don’t have to."

One interpretation is wolfy because the read-giver is intentionally limiting the information they share which can be anti-village. The other interpretation is NAI because saying that you'd like to analyze all the information you have before coming out of the gate swinging is a fair way to play.

This is sketching me out. I always find at least some people strike me as sounding villagey when I'm a villager and looking for it. As a wolf, it's way harder, since you're looking for sketchy things villagers have said but you couldn't care less about figuring out who villagers are.

I think of April, AM, and genny, there are one or two wolves, and I'm leaning towards genny being the only one.
