I took CS on 29th January (yeah... was dumb enough to take it on the FIRST day of the slot). Expected result date is 25th April. I am sure many people are waiting for their results also. Please share your experience of how you though you performed in CS and split of the performance on CS (eg- SEP, Note writing, etc). It will be helpful for future test-takers to judge their own performance.

Thanks.

Just thought I'd bump this. Anybody hear yet? I've actually forgotten when they generally release/e-mail about scores. I took mine near the end of the window so I'm not sure if I'll get mine today or not, but hey, can't hurt to hope!

How'd you do? I haven't gotten anything yet. The wait is killing me.

I made tons of mistakes.

Hi Guys

Yesterday I got my results PASS with high performance, I think a good conclusion for this experience is that the PE almost doesn't count much like Bluesaurus said.
The way to go is FA, LIQOR AAA summarization / PAM HUGS FOSS / PE ( basic ) and Closure
Other advice don't use your Brain just repeat over and over again, even a fat loser red neck jack ass like OveractiveBrain can pass this exam ( the evolution of his CNS stopped in the midbrain as we all can see by the crap he write in this forum )

So again thanks for your support

I'm practicing for my CS which is in a few days and I'm mostly using the FA CS cases with several friends. I always get the HPI and PMH/meds/SH/FH/etc. down very well, which is constant across all cases (I do use LIQOR AAA and PAMHUGSFOSS and another mnemonic or two). I don't have a problem with that. Where I do mess up is mostly on the ROS. I ask about a few general findings but will sometimes forget basic things like fever or rashes, and frequently more specific findings such as asking about oral ulcers/photosensitivity/etc. in a case that is possibly SLE. I usually have time to do a very good PE and closure, but I feel like my history is lacking certain specific questions - at least the stuff that FA wants you to ask. I don't know just how much information the SPs volunteer when you summarize and ask "anything else that you would like to add to my information?" or how much they volunteer when you open with "so tell me about your problem".

They do help out quite a bit. It's normal to forget certain things no matter how well you practiced them. In the beginning, it's pretty much a must to start with an open-ended question and from there they start the ramble.

If you ask them to tell you more about the problem, and you've forgotten something important, then most likely they'll contribute.

Thanks, that's very reassuring. When I practice with other (medical) friends we usually try and wait until the specific questions are asked, but if they do help out it's a little less scary for me. E.g. if they mention at least ONE thing that raises a flag inside my head - let's say, something like cold/heat intolerance - that would prompt me to immediately think "thyroid" and move towards that line of questioning.
