@PippyPony, before you switched to Dubz, why were you suspecting Allie?

I had genny and allie as w/v based on initial interactions, and had come down on the genny side of things based on a couple of her comments and the way she was remaining on a single target until deciding to vote with dubz.

So, genny flipping village bumped allie to wolf for me initially. Also, her voting record looks pretty darn bad, and that last minute waffle onto pickles could be exactly as awful as it looked.

If used strategically, if the masons both role reveal and vouch for each other, has it historically helped catch wolves faster? Could be a nice power play.

I was a seer once and found a wolf through dumb luck on Day 2, role revealed, lynched the wolf (which led to real life bitterness ) and asked the protector to protect me, and we cleaned house with zero village losses.

They can do that, but masons are like aged cheese in a way. The longer they wait to present themselves, the more useful/better tasting it will be for solving. If they can get to lylo together, even without the other prs, the game will be no less than 85% locked.

What you're describing though with the win, is the "Follow the Seer" setup that's very broken. Glad you were able to make use of it though haha

Wonder if it's possible for masons to help the other villagers out without role revealing their PR. I dunno what's been done in the past. When the total # of players gets low enough, it just becomes a POE/logic puzzle.


Genuinely wasn't tossing shade. As pickles told me a couple days ago, anything in the thread is fair game since it could be a legitimate issue that's not related to the game at all or it could be manufactured and used as a cover.

How'd your final go? 🙂


WW has definitely evolved on SDN since a decade ago. Our basics games in the Lounge had a seer as like the only PR. Maybe an angel. Later evolved to include different levels of wolves, then conversions, blocking, poisons, and paired villager roles like lovers who die together or switcharoo when one gets lynched the other swaps.

Then in the last 5-10 years, things got cray.

I feel like WW evolution in pre-vet has drastically superceded the Lounge because y'all play so many games. I just saw the Ideas/To-Do thread, and 😱 wow. WW. Srs business.

Good point to AM who said this is more of an analysis game vs. a luck game. I've traditionally relied on more luck.

Still 6 hours left. I'mma legitimately make a grid of the remaining players and try to make sense with 3 wolves and 2 masons...

I'm a luck guy myself. Not bright enough for the analysis

Huge sketch point for that for reasons in my head that are going to stay unarticulated.

Don't forget there's also a tracker and protector in the PR category. So at the moment, four living clears out of twelve players just waiting to push the remaining poe. Despite having only lynching one wolf so far, we're really in a good position right now.

I actually have excellent reading comprehension, thank you. I scored in the 99th percentile on all the reading comp & written critical reasoning sections of the standardized tests I have taken in the past.

At this time, I think I would prefer if you did not know exactly how the role works in this particular iteration.

Subtle "I'm a villager" and again when you asked that wolves kill you the other night. This argument isn't a lot on its own but it adds suspicion

I also don't like it when my village reads get lynched last second because people aren't paying attention and are messing around 😛

Other wolfy feels - I could see dubz, sporty, strog or MJ switched out with sport.

I was curious about allie but I'm really neutral on her honestly.

Trusting genny's read for the moment since the only check in the village column I had for Allie was the pickles lynch at the end of D2 - seemed a weird, conspicuous move for a wolf. POE has her in two of my possible wolf packs. I do want to reread some things...possibly during my lab meeting today.

Things that might helps me sort some things out:
@allieh8607 Do you have reads on Dina, MJ, pickles, and pip?

Hmm. Dina was originally village because of her PR claim but she has been dropped like a hot potato since revealing and I'd need to go back and ISO her posts before she revealed. I've been an irresponsible villager and haven't looked into her much after her reveal but the longer she lives the more I get worried. I lean towards the no kill night being protection on her.

MJ- I suck at reading his minimal posting style at baseline. But the more he chants his "I want pippy dead" cries and the more Pip says "I'd be dead already if MJ was a wolf" has me actually bumping him up on my wolf reads because keeping her around yet saying he wants her dead on thread seems like something he would pull as a wolf. I feel like there could be a wolf between pip and MJ.

I have basically the same reads on pickles and pip right now- neutral. Haven't really seen anything from either of them that makes me feel strongly wolfy or villager. Had wolfy feels for pickles earlier in the game but she's since been sounding more village. I feel like when Pippy subbed into the game she really shook things up. Need to go and see who the top candidates were when pippy entered the game and see if pressure is still on those people or not. Pippy has the kind of personality to drastically veer things in the direction she wants and if she were a wolf I wouldn't be surprised if she came onto the thread and made things go in the direction she wanted. (It's a compliment, pips <3)

As promised, the thoughts on allie:
ISO'd her, and she's been consistent in her thoughts. Her play style has a deviation from the last two games she's played which is a bit bothersome to me, but in all actuality isn't too far from her old "quiet norm." I see nothing explicitly village-y from her in posts (have not looked at VCA) which is making lean wolfy on her. Not quite as wolfy as others, but wolfy.

@allieh8607 What are your thoughts on Paws/cubs, AM, Dubz, and MJ? Or like honestly anyone except Barks and shelter?

MJ- see above.
Dubz- neutral to slightly wolfy leaning
AM- village leaning
Paws/cubs- don't have many thoughts yet so null for the most part, remembering that Mel had paws in his village bloc but so far haven't seen much from cubs that makes me think otherwise. they're kind of tunneling strog I think? Guess I need to go iso cubs.

I've been in this weird place with Strog in my mind for this whole game where he's acting so incredibly wolfy that it almost can't be real, and it's literally the only thing that's been stopping me from voting there

This is an example -- it's like he's manufacturing sketch, but it is so aggressive that I feel like the other wolves would have told him to cut it out by now

OK, but in all seriousness, can you provide some specific examples? I'm not denying that I come across sketchy, but if you look at the like 7-10 total WW games I've played on SDN, I must put out sketchy vibes a lot since people bring it up a lot.

For my own information, what is it? Is it too much fluff? Too much humor? Too goofy/flirty? Too much tinfoil? Too much defending people (e.g. MJ, in your mind)?

I get it, my vote there doesn't look good at all. But do you really think I had any idea what the **** was going on during that crazy lynch? Was anyone keeping an accurate tally during that cluster? I certainly wasn't. I already explained the vote. I was flustered with all the waffling and just stuck with who I thought was wolfiest at that time. I hate ties, I think it's pretty obvious after that one stupid role I had. I'm not worried about it anymore, because there's no tie currently.
