Going to submit as soon as that's in (which better be tomorrow...). Hopefully the last will get in, but as long as I have three, whatevs.

Good luck! I have my 3rd eLOR that finally is in "In progress" and a fourth that hasn't started.... only 3 days, well 2 now!

worried about submitted this close to the close. I may just submit without all the eLORs in since they technically don't have to be in to submit I heard. I just liked the ability to bug them/ remind them with VMCAS emails.

Haven't talked on here too much but read a ton, can't believe you can sleep! but i guess after submitting is worse when the wait starts.....
 
VMCAS submitted!!! All my eLORs got in too! Now to tackle those supplementals....

I think I'm adding Colorado State to my list last minute, so I've got a lot of work to do in the next few days on it.
 
Colorado State PPI Report - My one prof waited till the last day to submit it, and now she's having issues. And she emails me today saying "Sorry, won't be able to do it". I am so upset! I absolutely need her to submit. I have emailed PPI and called them because she doesn't want to.

I don't get it...why did she have to wait till the last minute?? 😕

I am crossing my fingers and hoping I can get it straigthened out tomorrow morning and get her to submit it. Otherwise I submitted my supplement for no reason and will have to drop a school off my list... 👎
 
Hi all again! I know I told you all that I pulled out of the application process for this year, but a visit to Auburn a few weeks later encouraged me to go on and apply this year. So I've been working on it all ninja-style. I am only applying to Auburn. I will be submitting VMCAS later today, and the supplemental tomorrow, then simply crossing my fingers!

Well, I still have Ohio State and Wisconsin supplementals, but since I haven't gotten those yet to do, doesn't count at this point.
 
Just don't go back and re-read your application right after you have submitted it. Wait until you have interviews and re-read it before heading to your interview.

And relax... until November/Decemberish... You aren't going to hear much before then anyway (if you hear anything at all).

What schools were doing invites that early???

I'm going to be a nervous wreck in November/December. :scared: I'm just trying my best to convince myself I won't get in at all, that way if I don't i won't be crushed and if i do I will be surprisingly pleased.

Btw, MonkeyR, you can still bug your evaluators about the LOR even AFTER you've submitted to VMCAS. I know this for a fact b/c I submitted a short while back (over a week ago, I think), and I was able to resend the LOR email to my last evaluator last night to give him a kick in the pants.

I think it was mainly Ohio that started super early. I didn't hear anything until like December/January from any of my schools.

Ohio usually does invites pretty early. I think FL did them early last year too? And a few others. Here's that thread in case you're interested. I keep going back to it... http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=863839&page=18&highlight=interview
 
Woo Hoo! My last LOR was just submitted 45 mins ago. :clap: Thank Heavens! Especially since I have to see him tomorrow at work. Now I can relax until the Wisc supplemental.

So, I've had it confirmed that NCSU will read more than 3 LORs. Anyone know if you have to specify 3 letters for Va/Md or for Wisc? I'm hoping they'll read all 4.

Hmmm, I thought I heard you couldn't resend the LOR email. Well then I get to submit tonight!

Then just have Cornell (my IS) and st. George's supplemental. Loving that RVC, Edinburgh and Glasgow don't have supplemental applications (unless I did a huge screw up and missed something....)

Shazaaam!!! I've submitted!!

Going to put the supplemental in the mail tomorrow.

Let's hope that none of us who submitted will ever have to go through this process again!

Finally had my final LOR submitted today though. WHEW! This doctor was really starting to worry me.

I signed into my CSU portal just to make sure they have everything from me and noticed this new Announcement:

"09.28.2012
PPI Report: If you find by September 30, not all evaluators have submitted their PPI evaluation, please go ahead and send your ETS PPI Evaluation Report on October 1st before 3:00pm Eastern Time. It will not impact the review of your application if not all three evaluators appear on the report."

Just submitted my application. Think I'm gonna be sick! How nerve wracking :scared:...

But still really excited that I even made it this far! Good luck to all of you!!!
 
Just spent almost $20 to send my transcript to LSU for the third time. I had it regular-mail re-sent last Thursday (also had it faxed, but that one is unofficial and doesn't count) and then super-rush mailed another copy today. I've done all I can...really hope it works out. :xf:
 
Submitted....and feel more anxious than before! 😎 And still waiting on one eLOR and that was a ridiculous amount of money to charge to my card.
 
Besides the money part, I don't recall being more anxious after I submitted. I was just happy to be done. Relax y'all. You have some waiting to do but it goes by very quickly. I can't even believe I'm in week 7 of first year. 😱

Yeah, I agree. I'm really not stressing about it. I can get nervous later WHEN (not if) interviews are looming. For now I can just relax and actually focus on school.

Thanks! But I harassed her this morning and sat down with her in front of a computer and got her to figure out the login issues.Submitted last minute, but submitted! 🙂
 
It's physically impossible for me not to be anxious. I have anxiety disorder, and vet apps don't help

In all seriousness, I would suggest getting this taken care of between now and veterinary school.
 
I had a minor panic attack earlier when VMCAS sent out a mass email saying they were having problems with processing credit card payments. I submitted Friday, but of course it didn't get processed right away. My vmcas status is "Mailed" so hopefully it went through. I'm still :scared: nervous that something went wrong and they'll be all like "Nope, no apps for you loserface." It doesn't show up as pending in my bank account yet, but my available balance is a nice exact $725 (8 schools) lower...
