I am struggling with my Pre-reqs. I am talking about C's. I also have about a 3.0 GPA overall and not too good of a Science GPA. However, I have a ton of clinical experience and other experiences: CNA, volunteer in ER, travel abroad to work with doctors, and Shadowed a ton of doctors, supervisor of my desk position, started my own student organization as well as working with faculty and the university to make a summer pre- college happen for multicultural student, and I have a research position. Can I still make it to medical school? I go to the top school in my State. But I am really concerned that my chances are dwindling. I really really really want to go to medical school because it more than just being a doctor to me. It's everything I want.

Do you have any advice?

@YDeeBY Your odds aren't good at all with a low 3.0 gpa. Have you taken the MCAT? What region are you from? Are you URM? How much time do you have left to bump up that gpa? Are you willing to apply DO?
These are questions I would start out with

I have 2.5 more years to raise my GPA. I am from the Midwest. Yes, I am an URM (under-represented minority group). I still want to strive as far as I can. Yes, I have thought about DO school.

What do you think about Carribean Medical schools?

If you have a checkbook and a pulse you're in. Not the route I would recommend though

You are too far off to worry about where to apply right now without an MCAT or an idea of your gpa for applications. But I would suggest a wide net unless you really turn it around. The URM status will help, but it cannot be a crutch.
Make sure to strive for all As if possible and really be positive that you are prepared before you sit for the MCAT. It's one of those tests you don't want to have to retake, trust me.
