I think I just have to look back over my village reads and leans and make sure I haven't cleared people for stuff that could be other-factionhunting vs stuff that actually would only make sense for village to do.

Because villagers should still be interested in trying not to misyeet villagers, vs scum that can replicate scumhunting but would still also not care as much about the whole misyeet thing, outside of trying not to look bad.

Well that's problematic for me because I think they're pretty dang village and I don't think the voting behavior you've focused on is even something that pans out as being scummy

To slightly expound from earlier—I just see no real impetus for changing my tiers right now, ya know? I appreciate getting their responses. There were other people in my POE and neutral baskets. I’ll see what happens tonight and reassess. If I die, I think others can take my reads list and my interactions with them throughout the day and draw their own conclusions

In Halloween - granted the situation was not exactly the same, but she jumped from voting apop to voting me right before vote closed to break the tie. I don't know if her motivation here was to stop zenge from going over or to break any potential ties that may arise.

I did not like this logic. Zenge did not have to wait so long to move onto CG, and the "people are gonna do what people do" felt defeatist and weird. The big thing everyone has ever told me is "you're the only guaranteed village, so self prez" and Zenge just wasn't giving off "I know I'm village so don't yeet me" vibes.

I do however dislike that you pointed out what you said pre-CG flip. I am trying to decide if its scum saying "look guys I didn't want to yeet a player that we now know is village. I am village too because of this." especially since you didn't really read CG as village based on your own words. And you also said "yet" further implying that you were unsure of your CG read. I am trying to decide how many wolf points you get for making an effort of pointing it out. Am I seeing evidence of scum feeling the pressure of other player's reads?

I usually say that I will not vote unless I have strong feelings. I did not have strong feelings about CG and did not want to vote them. I also do that to help keep track of what I said so people don't have to go digging.

I was actually about to put you in my neutrals when you posted that little spurs WIFOM and it shifted you up to village for me.

Current reads & thoughts: This is in no particular order.

Villageleans
Clem - I maintain that he still feels more relaxed and chill like his village self.
genny - she seems to be acting like village!genny, especially considering the vote flip yesterday.
kitz - I do think she is pure nooblet. A tiny part of my brain is afraid she was coached through derp!clearing but that feels unlikely.
samac - her claim about mason as her aff and the ensuing confusion feels natural and towny.
PSV - asking good questions, seems to be actively solving.
alissa - she seems to be asking good questions and solving well. I just don't know her playstyle well. Cautiously townlean.
Zenge - he still feels towny to me but I do think samac was onto something yesterday with her comments about the thunderdoming/votes seeming to shift away from him. Another cautious townlean.

Unsure read
SAR - I've seen her act the way she is now as both village and scum. So uh *shrugs*
apop - IDK. Apop seems okay and like typical village!apop right now. However I don't know what she looks like as scum and that is making me nervous.
shorty - I am townreading her more than Dubz rn. She is solving well. The fear remains of some type of 3p weirdness.
Dubz - feels similar to village!Dubz back in ggoats so so long ago. But I've never seen her as scum. So like true neutral I guess.
Barks - I think I need more time with her before I will have a true read.

Scumleans
fruit? - I don't know what to make of fruit's comments today. He seems oddly defensive and I haven't seen that before. Soft scumlean for now?
rae - She hasn't done anything that makes me go "oh, she's village!" Whoever mentioned that spurs and rae may be different scum factions (dubz?) I think may be on to something.
Spurs - I'm starting to see what other players were mentioning yesterday that made him feel different from village!Spurs. I'm curious about him - maybe some type of 3p scum?
