Just had a horrible histo exam. I really need to slow down when I'm taking exams. I think I missed some just because I didn't realize there was a question there. Why would you put a question without a space to answer it? Ugh.

I was trying to learn all the stupid details and now I've given up and am just learning the big concepts in detail. Just trying to work my way through the objectives/study questions and hope for the best. I'm real terrified though.

Best of luck. That doesn't need to be a difficult class, so I don't know why he insists on being like that. I promise to have my class make a stink if you guys suffer for it. I'm sure ky will get the second years to yell about it too.

For sure! Some people had that class as their lowest mark last year which makes no sense when there is physiology with Dr.S or histology or embryology or gen path, etc.

I'm assuming no, because the fire dept came. Not sure what set it off though....we got to go back in after 30 mins or so.

Yeah, full year class. I was so incredibly grumpy when they announced that we had better grab our coats and head outside....

How did they keep people from talking about answers while they were out there?

I had that happen once in an exam where there was only like 10 min left and I was just filling in the bubbles and hashing a few last questions. We went outside and everyone was like, "What did you put for ______?" And I had to try so hard to move away and not listen. I kinda hated the class anyway so that never helps.

Thanks guys. The questions weren't as terrible as I was fearing, though there were a few curveballs. We'll see how it goes when he grades it though.

Well, that respiratory phys exam sucked. But, thankfully, all I need is a 75 on the final to keep my B. Hopefully I can manage that Wednesday.

It will almost certainly be my lowest. Funny, seeing that my second major was animal behavior with one of my minors being anthrozoology. Welfare in an academic context is not exactly new to me. 🙁

I calculated what I need on finals for my last two classes. For the practical and written together in anatomy, I need a 97 to get an A. This is just on the edge of possibility, maybe. 😕

Pushing myself like crazy for anatomy too. I had a minor breakdown in lab feeling like I know nothing (there is so much stuff!), but then I stayed for like 3 more hours which ended up making me feel a bit better. Still really doubt I'll manage to make an A, which is kind of disappointing. I'm just hoping the exams aren't too bad.

I have, however, bought nearly all of my Christmas presents, depending on who else is joining us this year. 🙂

Yeah I feel you. Some of my finals really aren't much in the overall point value for the class though, so they really can't change your grade hugely which is good and bad I suppose. I need like 97% on my physio final to get an A but I could skip it and still pass the class by a reasonable margin...

That's awesome! I'm usually more on top of the shopping, but I guess I'll be one of those last minute people this year.

I really just want to curl up on the couch with my cat and watch Supernatural on netfix right now. Must...keep....studying....
