I have been obsessively analyzing the 2016 thread and it seems like those with boxes were accepted/held as alternates, while the 2015 thread showed that some people had boxes that later disappeared. BUT from what I saw in the 2016 thread, those without boxes were denied

I know that the boxes didn't mean anything at Washington State because I just got an offer from them and I still don't have that box.... That being said, I do not have a transcript box in my portal yet.

Last year, both IS and OOS applicants who were eventually designated as alternates/accepted the next day had the boxes..

I have no transcript box as well, but it's possible they also caught-on that applicants were using it as an indicator of acceptances/alternate positions. Or maybe we won't find out tomorrow?

Yea i am trying not to get my hopes up for tomorrow because the past 2 years they sent out the acceptances the 3rd Friday of Dec.... Tomorrows only the 2nd 🙁

I definitely think that this is true. I would also be willing to bet that acceptances will be sent out next week sometime. I didn't check my transcript boxes before the day acceptances were posted last year, but my friend had them and they were admitted. That being said, I don't think you can use their presence or absence as any kind of definitive answer. Good luck again ya'll!! The wait is almost over!

Long story short, but even if they do update portal/email acceptances today, I don't want to know until after tomorrow, and then I figured I could possibly just be a glutton for punishment and wait to see if a letter shows up in the mail. Or does the e-mail indicate something about your status in the subject?

I'm interviewing at K-State tomorrow, and I want to go into it without being distracted at all by whether or not I got into CSU. I'm sort of not expecting to get into CSU, but still.. I don't want a let down before my interview. But if K-State wasn't tomorrow, I'd be all over that!

Alternate offer. It said alternates aren't notified until after April 15, though, and I'll have to accept Oregon or Washington before then if I get an offer at either of those schools (I got an interview invite from Washington, still waiting on Oregon).

Kind of sucky, CSU would have been my 1st choice, but I can't risk losing a spot at another school.

It would be okay for you to accept a spot at another school and then decide to go to CSU if you get in there off the waitlist. Schools tend to understand that, and it'd open up a spot at one of the other schools for a waitlisted person!

I got my acceptance email, today too! and for anyone who is curious- the materials check list boxes did not show up before I got the email.

Also, my email didn't say "Update in Portal". The decision (Non-sponsored alternate) was right in the first sentence and the title of the email. I was a little shocked they didn't give us any prep time before looking at the decision...

This may be a silly question... I'm from NY and not really familiar with how WICHE works, do some of the NonSponsored become WICHE if they are ranked high enough by the WICHE council/committee/gods. And do WICHE designations result in changes in the Nonsponsored pool?

Does anyone know if there is somewhere else, besides the vettext store, that sells CSU vet med merchandise? I would like to buy a couple gifts for people, including my mom who I think is as excited as I am, but I am worried that the store will be closed, next week, since the semester is over. Just as a heads up to everyone else, I didn't receive an email or any notification that a decision had been made, but I had my decision (accepted non-sponsored!) waiting for me at the CSU portal. So if anyone else has been anxiously waiting for your email to arrive, it might be worth checking the portal first.
