It was my last interview of the season, so I was glad to be done...decisions are out of my hand for now lol.
 
So my portal just changed from Fall(September) to Fall, I wanted to see if anyone else got the same change. For reference I already had my interview.

are you talking about in the portal where it says "entry term:" because I never realized what it said before but it says fall for me too, post interview.

Same. Whenever I open my portal my eyes go straight to status, but mine currently says Fall, post interview.
 
Mine says that to but I haven’t received an interview yet.
 
Let us talk about heart attacks. I have been refreshing my email constantly for an update. Then I receive this email:

Then when I open it, I realize it’s a random Trump advertisement-___- which I have no idea why it was sent to me.

also don’t know what it said before but mine also says fall. I also already had my interview. i’m thinking it’s nothing tho since everyone got the change
 
I got a status change to "Thank you for submitting your application. Please check back later to view more information about what is required to complete your application." Do any of you know what that means? I'm guessing it is a rejection?
 
Do you know whta is the time line of the program.
Is it:
Summer 06/28 6 weeks
Fall 08/16 to around Christmas
Spring; around. MLK day to early May
Am I right?

idk about spring but everything else is correct
 
Super stressed about when decisions are made. I was looking at previous years and it looks like first round of decisions are out around this time in May. Did anyones 1-on-1 interviewer give any clues as to when they will release?

Hi everyone! I wanted to drop a quick message. I haven't contributed much to the convo since I updated everyone about receiving an interview invite (interviewed on 5/6). I've been anxiously waiting and refreshing everything I could think of. I know this time last year, students had already received acceptances, but it may also be because they did start interviewing much sooner (end of April if I'm not mistaken). I know this is an extremely stressful time for everyone, but I'm sure the wait will all be worth it. I don't know if anyone is in this current situation, but I've been getting my AMCAS application ready just in case this doesn't work out. Although I feel confident in my application and my DPMS interview (I actually shared some very personal stuff that made the entire experience super emotional, but not messy I think/hope), anything could happen. It's been a huge pain working on this app knowing that there's a chance I don't even have to submit any of this, but I always like to play on the side of caution. Lol it's just unnecessary stress I'd rather not add to my life.

My ideal scenario would be to receive an acceptance before 5/20, because that's the day I have the CASPer test scheduled. I didn't have to re-take it for DPMS because DUCOM already had my scores from when I previously applied. So, I'm only scheduled for it because I am planning to re-apply directly to med school. If I can avoid taking that stupid test and have a couple of weeks of peace for the first time in a long time, that would be a miracle.

Anyways! I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. We are all in these positions for one way or another. Whether any of us are denied, it just means that there is a better opportunity ahead that is aligned precisely FOR YOU.

Sending you all much love, patience, strength, and positive vibes overall! I don't know how I would've ever navigated this process with a clear mind without this thread. I don't think I'd be in this position in the first place lol.

Ok I saw the candle and had to share... I work at a community center with two other young working adults that don't know much about the med school application process, but they've been along for the ride since we started working together in September. After I got a DPMS interview, I updated them because they've been rooting for me and one of the girls told me she had been lighting intention candles for me every night since she heard about the long med school wait and my unsuccessful AMCAS cycle.

All of this to say, there are people rooting for all of us, even if we don't know it. What's meant to be will surely be.

Hoping for good news for post II A's and those still waiting for an II.

I have two coworkers who dont even have college degrees. I have 2. They have been my biggest cheerleaders along with my mom! They have made a world of difference.

During my interview (5/6), they said decisions will most likely be made the 3rd or 4th week of May for people who interviewed in the first round 😬

The first rounds of interviews were Tues 5/4-Thurs 5/6; The second round would've been this past week Mon 5/10-Thurs 5/13 (someone mentioned earlier on this thread that there were four days to choose from). I'm assuming rounds 3 and 4 will be in the next two weeks. The time people are interviewing is dependent on when they received their invite, as the email only gives you an option for days that coming week.

In terms of decisions, they did mention that there are TWO rounds of decisions, one being at the end of May (week 3 or 4) and the last one being in early June (likely two weeks before the program starts).


I wish they sent updates every couple of days on what was going on lol 🙁
 
Can there really be another around of interviews when the may 20 deadline for the Casper test is next week?

I would think so because they mentioned that they will be interviewing through the end of May! Also, Casper scores aren't delivered right away. they take a couple of weeks to be scored, so I'm not sure when they are expecting to have those by. I can't imagine that Casper scores are part of the determining factor in an acceptance or not. Based on the timeline of how things go for this program, it doesn't seem likely that they will wait for that... This may be something that could be asked through email to verify because it seems like a tricky situation.

I had a status change today, but no email regarding the status change. So maybe I will receive an update next week? Did anyone get an interview invite this week?

someone did on the 12th from this forum. Just FYI, when they say they will interview through May, I would assume that means that through next week will probably be the last week to receive an invitation, since it is the following week that you will have your interview. Either way, BREATHE!!!

Since submitting mine, it just says "Thank you for your application. Your file is currently complete and under review. A decision has not yet been made on your application to Drexel University. If additional materials are required before an admission decision can be rendered, we will contact you."

Is that what yours said before?
 
Hi all! I just just my status update this morning and I did not get an interview! I wanted to get advice though from you all: like should I reapply?
