WL!I thought the last day to commit to a school was in April for AMCAS? They still send acceptances after that or is this just for people who may have been on the WL? Can anyone explain the process?

I had similar concerns, but I think it's important to remember that it isn't rolling admissions and they gave us a deadline to take CASPer. With that being said, I don't think they'd hand out A's without a CASPer score submission, so the wait is still grueling!I’m concerned my CASPER exam will affect the admission’s decision. I took the exam after my interview date, but my score is still pending. 😭
I did send an update to the CoM email updating them, but no reply back.
My interview date was 5/13!When was your interview date? If you don’t mind me asking.

I think as long as you took it before the deadline you should be okay! It takes about 2 weeks after you complete the exam for the results to be delivered. I’m sure they factored in that time when making decisions!
Thank you two for the reassurancethe wait continues. What is everyone doing to not stress and avoid refreshing their application?
I for one have been going on walks.
I’m planning to submit my primary app while waiting, just in case this program doesn’t pan out.Is anyone waiting to hear back after their interview and also intending to submit their primaries? Wanted to submit early but also not sure what to do since I haven’t heard back yet. The former students said they heard back mid June last year
I would wait to submit until at least mid June, by then hopefully all the decisions will be out. There were some people this year who did both and it made their process for applying with Drexel a little more complicated (it got resolved but still a headache). There's actually a whole separate application process we do as DPMSers in late fall/end of fall. Give it just a little bit more time 🙂 I promise a mid-June primary app submission will not be considered late by any means!I’m planning to submit my primary app while waiting, just in case this program doesn’t pan out.
Based on last year's cycle, some folks definitely got As before their CASPer scores were visible to the applicant. I think the score is treated much more like a pending spring semester prerequisite than the MCAT. The CASPer score isn't going to make or break you as plenty of folks with bottom quartile scores have been admitted to Drexel and other great schools. I know some folks want to believe it's more significant than it is but based on the results from SDN and Reddit...it seems like copium. And I get it, this process is confusing and often seems arbitrary so it's human to want to latch onto something but...CASPer isn't it. We're all just being forced to pay for its validity testing.I had similar concerns, but I think it's important to remember that it isn't rolling admissions and they gave us a deadline to take CASPer. Quick question, is this program only for URM and SES or it is available for everybody to apply for? Anybody mind sharing the stats they applied with?
How exciting!!!
If you don't mind, what were your stats and when did you apply?I applied to both DPMS and MBS. I was accepted into the MBS program, but if I get accepted to DPMS, definitely choosing DPMS. 🙏🙏
Congrats! It's always good to have options.I applied to both DPMS and MBS. I was accepted into the MBS program, but if I get accepted to DPMS, definitely choosing DPMS. 🙏🙏

cGgpa: 2.9, sGPA: 3.01. MCAT:499 I’m a reapplicant, so I really focused on making my personal statement explain my motivation for medicine.
Would need clarifying information...does DPMS decision making depend on FAFSA?
I can’t check my score yet. It only says “Completed - Results delivered“Anyone just get their CASPER score back? When I first took it like 2 years ago I scored in the 3rd quartile. Apparently, this year I have regressed into a first quartile sociopath LOL
Hey, has any of the applications you submitted have it reflected in the portal yet?I can’t check my score yet. It only says “Completed - Results delivered“
nodoes DPMS decision making depend on FAFSA?
No just what was previously on my application checklist. Everything that was previously submitted. Does your Casper show up on your checklist?Hey, has any of the applications you submitted have it reflected in the portal yet?
Same! I already sent them my official transcript. I’m a little uneasy. I dont want this to be the reason I don’t get in lol!My ii date is gone too, and a new checklist request for my official transcripts. Not sure what it means though!
Anyone else?!I looked in my portal for a missed date and saw an A! 😭😭😭😭
Omg Congratulations!!!I looked in my portal for a missed date and saw an A! 😭😭😭😭
So your admissions checklist portal didn’t have a doesn’t have an additional official transcript from your school?I just checked the portal and also got an A! I think the final transcript is a requirement for admissions
Yes, the application checklist added a section that shows "Awaiting Official Final transcripts: . . . . " .So your admissions checklist portal didn’t have a doesn’t have an additional official transcript from your school?
