Great job to the wolfies for getting this game to F3!!

Thanks to the tots for their useless items that were the mayor gifts each day!

@beans2020, you da real MVP for village, outstanding first game. I see a best noob awward nom in your future if you keep playing.

[supershorty]

I hope everyone had fun. SAR is available to answer any mechanics questions. I am neither available nor do I know the answers to most of the mechanics questions

Also we really did figure out some of the mechanics after the game already started because I am a chaotic masochist

[WildZoo]

Swear to God I will drag this game back from the brink kicking and screaming if I can

Couldn't have done it without ya @beans2020

And way to stick it out and bring it home in the final 3 @Lissarae06, I know the game is very different now from the way it used to be but you did a great job adapting!

Gotta give a shout-out to @Zenge142 for calling out that shot from mkg almost as soon as it happened and not backing down.

And to the rest of the blocc @samac and @genny , it was beautiful for the short time it lasted 🥰

gg wolves, this was an extremely difficult game

[WildZoo]

Thanks modgods, this was fun and agonizing

Just to be clear

I’ll fight for my blocc harder in the future
I was a lot of vibes early games

But the vibes were to village read people, not wolf read anyone. And I think that’s an okay strategy? Just different than I’m used to

[Zenge142]

WHY IS IT YOURE THE ONLY ONE WHOS ALLOWED TO VILLAGE READ ME. WHY IS IT AS SOON AS OTHER PEOPLE DO YOU WANT TO MISYEET ME.

I think it's just as valid as wolfhunting!

Also, just as an FYI, everyone was village D0. We were inspired by 10th Anni where no one had an affiliation the first day. The conversion happened at the end of N0.

I wasn’t here

But that’s nifty and I love it

[WildZoo]

Me: Maybe everyone feels village because everyone IS village! What a wild and crazy tinfoil!

Also me: literally designed and ran the game that inspired it

[beans2020]

GUYS YOU'RE MAKING ME BLUSH YOU'RE ALL SO SWEET ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
I'm proud of us!! Wolves, you did SO GOOD - I am very very impressed!

What? But I distinctly remember talking to you in that game.

EVERYONE VILLAGE, NO WOLVES

(Beware, perhaps there will be a new game at some point that is all wolves no village?)

[vampyrica]

if a new game starts- nobody ping me. i’m going into hiatus. great game but damn a devastating loss for wolves!!

@potentialsheltervet & @mkg323 despite our conflicting and busy schedules, you guys did so amazing and i couldn’t have picked a better duo to wolf with. 🖤 love you my pookiekg323 and pookiesheltervet

Oh, that's actually a thing. It's got a whole community and it's where I met FTF.

[WildZoo]

and tried to sell invisible sweaters to hedgehogs

snort

[samac]

Oh I mean for N0 lol

Wolfing is hard!! You guys did great. Excellent job taking advantage of all the village infighting and using it to your advantage.

My most pressing question: did the achy breaky barn door actually exist?!
And what item converted mkg/psv/vampy into wolves?

[supershorty]

My most pressing question: did the achy breaky barn door actually exist?!

No

And what item converted mkg/psv/vampy into wolves?

There wasn't a specific item. We had RNGed the pack in advance, we just wrote their conversion as getting a bad deal on their festival tickets and getting so mad they decided to burn Gruffendale to the ground.

[WildZoo]

I also wanna know who was supposed to die N3

[WildZoo]

No

Oh so it wasn't cursed items??

[Zenge142]

I also wanna know who was supposed to die N3

genny I bet

[vampyrica]

genny

[HRH Queeb SAR]

I also wanna know who was supposed to die N3

Genny, iirc

And the wolves are the ones who scrambled everything, including their own kill which has a chance to redirect onto themselves also

[supershorty]

genny

[HRH Queeb SAR]

We were gonna make it cursed items but couldn't really come up with a way to do it that wouldn't be too close to bastard

[supershorty]

Would anyone else also like to say that it was supposed to be genny

[vampyrica]

once my move is all done, i’ll be back for revenge dont you worry. i’ll be training in the shadows…

Genny, iirc

genny

Smh I just need to say "this game may be verging on bastard, but is designed to be winnable for all factions" on my sign ups and then truly let the chips fall where they may for game design

[WildZoo]

And the wolves are the ones who scrambled everything, including their own kill which has a chance to redirect onto themselves also

WHAT

[WildZoo]

We were gonna make it cursed items but couldn't really come up with a way to do it that wouldn't be too close to bastard

I was trying to think through how something like that might work but that train of thought left my brain at some point because it didn't seem vital at the time

[HRH Queeb SAR]

Everything I came up with was either too bastard or too unbalanced haha

[beans2020]

Were the wolves offered the same items as the villagers then? Did they get multiple night actions so they could kill and use their items?

[GreedyBanger]

Good game and congrats to Beans and Lissa. Pretty clear I'm not a fit here with the way things are done so see yas

[supershorty]

Were the wolves offered the same items as the villagers then? Did they get multiple night actions so they could kill and use their items?

Yes, there was one general item pool for everyone. It just had 30 things in it, so there wasn't a lot of overlap.

The factional kill is separate from item use, yes.

[HRH Queeb SAR]

Were the wolves offered the same items as the villagers then? Did they get multiple night actions so they could kill and use their items?

Yes, wolves were offered a collective set of items the same as villagers, just more options. They each got to pick an item to use and then had the factional kill

[HRH Queeb SAR]

Also the fake backstage pass wasn't just a vig shot, it was a vig shot that worked if used on a wolf but if used on a villager the shooter died instead

I laughed when wolves got it because that's some luck right there

Inspired by popcorn mafia, of course.

[chicandtoughness]

Excellent play from everyone!! This was a fun game to watch despite it being long 😅 Beans, you did great for your first forum game!!

[Lissarae06]

Beans’ back probably hurts because she carried the game tbh.

[samac]

Genny, iirc

I was gonna hit that button if they left me alive

Is it bad that part of my secret, back of the brain thinking that mkg was a wolf with that shot was that village would never be lucky enough to have happened to have a gun on exactly the day when it would have made sense to use it

[Animal Midwife]

That's literally my favorite type of gun!

[Lissarae06]

Thanks for modding the game! It was fun!

Village did get an activated pgo once and the normal vig shot was out for picking twice (I think) and never chosen

The night cancel also never got picked

[supershorty]

That's literally my favorite type of gun!

Would it have been your favorite type of gun when it would have killed you after you tried to shoot at Zenge

[Animal Midwife]

But now I completely can rationalize the bus.
