Yeah, it's hard getting a feel for someone when they have four posts and one of them is just "third!"

Not going to try to talk you out of this, but I feel much better about Stoat after sleeping on it and looking back over the thread. She's definitely a little weirdly sure about genny (and I also don't see how she could be), but it's normal for her to be weirdly confident about her takes.

Can’t exclude that possibility. Stoat’s jumping on different people was weird. But on the other hand Genny’s vote was weird too. I had flimsy reasoning for my Zenge vote so I wonder why she didn’t pick on me instead.

I will phrase this better by pulling on some genny meta in our other two games. Tl;dr surprise she voted for me (I think she circled me when she was scum in stardew as well?) turned into an angry "oh I recognize this behavior, this is a wolf, no thank u"

She is a lowposter so I have zero qualms about sticking to my guns @vetschoolsletmeinplease

This is about as active as she has been in my other two games with her

I disagreed with the vote (which, left unchanged would have bothered me less) but I disagreed more with the transition of going from voting for him to village leaning him without interacting w him in between
Or him being here for any interaction beyond a couple of joke posts

Now if he continues to not be here past today then absolutely Ill find that sus
But I don’t find much value in speculating on people that aren’t here on d1

Not that this probably changes much in the grand scheme of things, but I wouldn't say Zenge isn't here. That's reserved for zeroposters or people that otherwise miss the minimum. I have yet to see Zenge do either in a game.

yeah i have to agree- i know zenge tends to be lurky early on, so i don’t think i feel comfortable placing a yeet there right now, but i want to see more from him.
also bluestoat, i want to hear your reasoning for thinking he’s village. i really apologize if i missed it, i’ve just been on my phone the past 2 days. but i remember reading that you voted for him to see how he would react as a test, but how did the test go to make you think he’s village?

People gave him a hard time on not pushing people again on MarWWel but he was a villager. He was widely village-read in that game after voting for wolves. So it’s hard to read him until a wolf flips.

I want to respond properly because I spent this morning trying to remember why I thought True was wolfy last night (I left commentary in my role PM that reminded me, and I'm chewing on some other notes I left for myself there). I would like to properly lay out why I feel what I feel, since it is based on words and approach. It needs to be phrased properly for me to be understood and for the pattern that made it reasoning instead of randomness to be clear.

You and Zenge feel the most village to me. Zenge seems... I don't know how to phrase it. He's relaxed and jokey when he's not a wolf, but it's not like he doesn't joke when he's a wolf. He just doesn't seem relaxed. I could be wrong but I feel very comfortable with how he's posted so far. I will change this feeling if something sets me off but he reads like a villager who isn't concerned about being wolf coded or needing to mantain an image. He's the only player that kind of thought process actually applies to for me, because I have gotten correct village reads of him from it before.

As I get to know players more, I individualize their assessments more. For example, I refuse to village read AM until she votes a wolf because I'm sure I can't read her otherwise.

They haven't played for a while so I want to watch before deciding how to lean them. So easy to be spooked by an unknown variable.

I didn't have a strong wolf read on Zenge, since you're skimming you may have missed that. I was waiting for Zenge to respond or post more (and tbh was going to vote midwife for the same reason, but Dubz voted her just before me). I don't think AM or Zenge feel wolfy, but I don't want to village read AM without vote proof. The Genny vote is a 100% real vote because I find her thread efforts very typical of the kind of wolf circling I ignored in earlier games.
