I hear you. And it made sense. But at this point, this is the only ping I got. Maybe half a ping.

I did strain it a bit....thanks for the concern! It seemed to become a bigger issue with multiple subsequent replies about it.

Again, D1 pings are hard to come by and this is the only thing remotely on my radar. If the option is nothing or something (regardless of how smol), I am going to go with something.

I went back and read OWWLympics after it was mentioned in HZD as a wolf!bob example. He is much more confident and states his D1 reads with conviction instead of pre-empting them with "This is all I have and I'm sticking with it."

Hey. Sup? Why no answer on my one comment that I asked? And you def would have replied had I been wrong.

No thoughts. I like Zenge and Vis thinking usually but they are disagreeing and one is voting me so that is not helping my thought process. I do like pressuring the zero poster. It felt like a safe place to go to help content. But apparently it is felt that it would hurt more than help by most.

Mel has not seemed as defensive about posts are stating how we can't do without him. He was my next play but I don't like losing helpful people on D1.

Pippy seemed to bail but apparently her pt had an issue

Cray has been the most different she has ever been, but apparently her wolf meta is the opposite.
Genny sounds 100% village, but I can't recall if I have seen her wolf. It might be the fact that she makes me LOL and I can't vote against that

I think the high degree of fillery is making it somewhat harder for me to find as much sus D1. Also I think my moods or how busy I am IRL may be a factor. I wish I could be more consistent but hopefully I'll get a chance to prove my villageryness.

If someone publicly announces that they are gonna PM someone else , your knee jerk reaction would be to assume that they are not wolves in the same team (coz why would they need a PM then?) . However wolves arent gonna lose anything important by not being in a PM with a villager. Hence why its a good distancing tactic for two wolves to publicly announce that they are gonna be PMing each other

Not bad reasoning, what I would say, but I disagree that wolves don't miss out when they don't pm villagers. However the way the pms this game are structured there's not many choices. When I'm not reallg giving up PMing a villager when I wolf I will open a PM with a fellow wolf for multiple mechanical reasons, though.

I feel like villagers would be more understanding of another villager's hesitancy to get pumped for info in a private conversation, or should be. Or a villager should be more wary that the person they're trying to talk to is a wolf. It just feels so wolfy to try to force those convos, because it only makes sense to me that a wolf would be so set on the convo, they usually have the most to gain. If nothing else, it does feel a little less than supportive of other people's playstyles or limited time. I hate feeling pressured to PM with people.

Not trying to attack you here samac, I know you love PMs. But I thought I would just explain my feelings in general about it as a point of the game and how I might think about how PM attitudes might be AI for some players and why this pings me so hard in general.

This my list of who I’m currently thinking of voting for. Not sure which yet. I’m working on it.

Big issue with this list is that it's a good list before roles even go out. Meaning these are just a lot of top sketchy players even before a game has started. They are good for fake wolf read lists and fake wolf sus because pretty much no one is gonna say how dare you sus them, unless you just don't do a decent job making up some excuse to sus them.

It was mel cubs bob and vis, I think at the time. Many feel like common sus/misyeet targets low hanging fruit bad D1 yeets a lot of the time. Keep in mind I was not caught up, and limited time for analysis, had to go with my knee jerk to the list of top contenders. Visc had bothered me earlier with what felt like weird sus my way and other posts that felt off, so I went there because I didn't want to put anyone new on board, and to vote for anyone else with one vote would have just made another tie, and with me as the tie maker. Yuck.

Wasn't ready to lose Mel or Cubs D1. Feel bad with a D1 Bob or Vis misyeet, but... Feel bad if it was a misyeet of Vis from misreading her D1 as has happened before, but have to set that aside if you really think you've had pings from someone, and I had pings from her more than the other contenders.

Ultimately didn't love any of them though.

I don’t tend to go into PMs and spill all my guts from the get go, it takes a certain level of trust before they earn that, I remain pretty wary until I get to that point. Now, I can get pocketed in PMs, and I’m more aware of that then I used to be. Probably the easiest way to pocket me, ask MKG lol.
I do understand some people don’t like them, and I wouldn’t publicly be trying to get you or AM to open one for example. But with Mel having this PM god reputation that pumped me up, I was honestly expecting him to not pass up the opportunity.
Him responding to a point about him not passing up the chance to pocket me with he was too busy was just a weird response, but it’s just noted.
