Basically what Coop said. I just got home from work and only had a second to reply earlier. Didn't mean you're necessarily wolfy right here and now but that's something a wolf would want to ask - find the source and kill/get rid of it. Just pointing it out now since I know you're a noob. When someone has mod info, generally best idea for village is to test it, and its wrong, investigate/lynch the person who said it.

My plan was to pop on here after work and try to sway the vote to caiter more but saw I had some votes on me when I checked in earlier and decided to come out with my info then before I ended up leading the lynch instead. Didn't want to say it first thing in the morning because that kills conversation for the day and doesn't benefit the villagers at all. At least now we have some discussion/lynch votes to look at prior to when I posted.

While reading through I was planning on lynching FB or Caiter, guess I can go with caiter first to test this out. It would be awesome to kill 4 wolves in a row. Worlds shortest WW game?

This means nothing if wolves were given cover roles. Not sure what part of that you aren't understanding. It's kind of weird that this is your best defense at this point. Most people spill their guts right now telling everyone everything if they are village. Your lack of defense just seals the deal.

Ok, its just I also noticed you were getting attention for lynch vote, and the quick comment seemed more deflection to me. But you openly admitted and pointed to that in your response here. That makes me want to believe you more so than suspect you. Give it a shot.

medium-to-strong squints at:
- jil (really not a fan of the phrasing that my other half pointed out, plus the emphasis on the "oh, look how right my Lyra vote was" right after that lynch)

- MJ (although kind of taking Coop's word on the sounding village in PM thing for now)

The community was feeling pretty good about themselves. They'd dispatched two murderers already and woke up to find a third threat dead that morning. So they prepared to take out another person, hoping their luck would continue. While they were busy discussing who was most suspicious, one of them ran forward.

"It's Caiter!" she said. "Caiter is a murderer."

That was enough for the rest of the village and they swiftly turned on Caiter.

"It's not me!" Caiter insisted, backing away from the murderous crowd. "What happened to innocent until proven guilty?"

The village was forced to recognize that Caiter had a point. So she was safe, for now.

No one has died.

It is now Night 4. Deadline is 11 pm EDT.

D1 I wasn't seeing the Lyra sketchiness. D2, I started to see it, but also thought she was posting more than she did in the LK game, that wasn't defending, just pointing out a difference. I could be wrong about that, but in LK she seemed to be doing "oops, sorry guys, I'm so busy, I totally forgot to vote!" Where in this game she was actually posting stuff, maybe not more posts, but the posts she made were longer. I didn't ever really feel like I was soft defending, just stating my opinion on what others were saying. I feel like you and pippy are always suspicious of me lately though.

I also thought my points about caiter not defending were good, and you seemed to have totally overlooked that.

Plus the interaction between lyra and I yesterday don't look wolf/wolf imo. She was also my mentee if you don't recall, so I tend to have a softer spot for her.

Eh, I felt like a lot of her posts were on the fluffy side, though, despite being longer, which was part of the tip-off for me. Not a whole lot of actual analysis or similarly substantial content, especially D1... most of it was just her posting about how she was annoyed at the lack of discussion without actually really contributing much to the discussion herself. :shrug:
 
Well, I was going to say that I wasn't completely buying FB's info... it just seemed odd to me for some reason.
But I was wrong, so I don't have to embarrass myself and say it... oh wait...

Yeah I'm taking this lynch avoidance as neither confirmative nor... whatever the opposite of confirmative is LOL. Still feeling the side eye towards Caiter.
 
Yes, possible that there are other mechanisms of lynch avoidance in the game. However, making this comment right after the lynch...

That sounds pretty wolfy to me. If it were a villager avoidance, I'd expect a bit more coming from Cait to that effect.

And when I was reading through D1 on D2, I agreed with that, which is part of what made me think she was sketch. I was also pointing out a difference in her play style between the two games. That difference did nof necessarily make her more or less wolfy IMO. Other aspects of her play made her more wolfy to me.

It's not a 100% wolf ability for sure. The sketch part is not telling the village beforehand that they have a lynch avoidance and not defending at all. Would mean the village just wasted a lynch on you.

I do hope someone would have investigated the mayor on N2, though.....

Have to admit, I'm not fond of this latest trend of letting people occasionally double-up. It seems like it would make it easier to catch them as wolves - hey, two people to potentially be sketchy - but in reality it just makes it hard for me to assess them. Probably because by default, they're usually doubling up because they're busy, so they aren't posting as much.

In this game, Pippy seems village to me and Trilt seems wolf. Bleh.

I get why people have allowed it ... so that 'busy' folks can play ... but really ... I think it would be better to just sit out a game and stick with single player, single role. Unless there's some intentional mechanic, of course.

Anyway. JMO.

Oh. Somewhere in the scrollback someone asked SOV if he was still suspicious about his earlier reads, which included Nyanko.

I'm pretty sure Nyanko at least started the game as village. Maybe 90% certain. For legit reasons.
