Lol! I feel like we had this same issue last year and I *believe* I put 2015, so you should put 2016 haha. Either way, they'll know who you are and will happily take the money

Anyone who received acceptance emails recently receive the packet in the mail yet?

I got my acceptance the 11th and haven't gotten any other information. Should it be an email or packet in snail mail?

I emailed admissions and they sent me this link:

For me, my deadline is January 4th, 2016. I'm sure yours is the same day. I haven't gotten anything else other than their reply when I asked for it.

They met on Friday 12/18 and they said decisions should come out today 12/21 or tomorrow 12/22. And then yes, if you don't hear anything by the end of business hours on 12/22 then text Patti because they have a half-day on 12/23

Thanks! Waitlisted 12/11 and I did submit a LOI as suggested by Admissions when I called/emailed.

Spoke with the office and it looks like KCU is in a holding pattern until the start of the spring semester - they'll see where they're at with fees paid, acceptances given, interviews offered, etc. and move forward with opening more interview dates once they get those numbers.

Last week of July is orientation week I believe, so I would probably move in at least 3-4 days before that to get settled in and even earlier if you want some time to chill out and enjoy KC before starting school. I put in an application for century towers still looking at some other places but leaning CT because how close it is to the school and inexpensive ~$680 for 1 bedroom.

If you are considering CT at all I would at least put in an app in to get on the waitlist.

Ahh ok awesome, thanks! That's exactly why I wanna do CT. I feel like it'll be an easy way to adapt to the school and city and be surrounded by other students as well. The stunners at my interview recommended doing the 2 bedroom and getting a roommate but idk about that haha

BTW, in case anyone else is wondering, there is a $250 additional deposit and a $10 monthly fee for pets.

Are you suppsoed to recieve a 'complete appliaction' email from this school? I logged back in and it still gives me the option to pay? even though I already recieved a receipt for my application payment. Wish I could check the status of my application, I don't even know if they have it marked complete.

1) Yes, you're supposed to receive a "complete application" email. It will tell you that your application is in the review stage (which should take 4 weeks).
2) You will always see the option to pay when you log back in to your secondary application. It's in the past now, don't bother going back to it.
3) Unfortunately, you can't check the status of your application online. The best way to find out is to call the office of admissions.

EDIT: And if it's been a while since you thought you were complete, it might be a good idea to check with admissions. You just might be missing something. Also take into consideration that it's the holiday season.

I know most of you have moved on with your matriculation plans by now, but if I were to apply this late to any other school (I'm waitlisted here), which schools should I target? All opinions welcome.
