I got an II today and they assigned me 07/17....sweet 10 day notice

No, I'm not saying that. It should work, its just the AACOMAS had quite a few bugs this year, so I went with Interfolio because they've been doing it for many years.
 
Did everyone on here send their MCAT scores through AAMC to AACOMAS? I was under the impression that the scores were automatically sent to AACOMAS and automatically sent to each school.....every school I applied to still has not received my score 🤔

Yes you have to send your MCAT from AAMC to AACOMAS

I sent mine the day it opened so they had a bunch of issues so it took a awhile. The problem is waiting for them to verify your MCAT. It was taking a couple of weeks last I saw

That is so frustrating! I submitted my application the day it opened and just now realized that my MCAT wasn't in today. So much for getting apps out early 🙁.
 
has anyone received a secondary without having their mcat score official or verified?

I called today and they told me it takes one week. It's been a full week since I had my scores released to AACOMAS, but they told me to wait a few days and call if they're still not showing. Seems a little odd that computerized records take that long to go through, but apparently that's how it works!

I was not aware they had a number to call! Just about impossible to find the number by searching their website, but I googled it and there it was... lol...I have been waiting on an email reply for the past 2 days, they will be getting a call from this guy today

Just be aware that it takes a while to get through! Some days I've called a dozen times and kept getting the, "We're busy, call again later" message. Your best bet is to call at 9am when they open!

🙁 I am working from 7-12 today in the doctor's office....just going to call every 2 minutes for the rest of the day I guess! lol
 
My aacomas was verified on Monday--how long did it take you guys once verified to receive your secondaries??

It was a while. But that was because LECOM just started processing applications last week.
 
Has a second wave of secondaries gone out yet?
 
if they're offering II right off the bat basically, their prescreen must be pretty in depth which freaks me the f*** out
 
Yeah thats all strange I received an email saying they got my primary over a week ago but still no word on secondaries, and the only thing I really dont like is why the interviews are so soon. I believe they do it so if you are accepted they essentially lock you in before any other school can even interview you?!?! Am I right or are the interviews not that early?
 
I actually just went back and re-read the email and it says my application is under review and they will contact me with a decision, it does not even say anything about filling out secondaries. Guess Ill just have to wait and see, ill keep you guys posted.
 
Yeah, I'm not sure why people are being offered II already. However, you get offered II before submitting your LOR's. I think they're offering II's to those with high and/or strong EC's.

I'm still waiting on my secondary. I got the primary received email Jul 2nd.
 
I haven't even gotten an email from either LECOM about getting my primary, thinking about sending them an email if I don't hear anything by the end of tomorrow

i called them and admission said the reason we haven't gotten anything is cuz they haven't downloaded our app (due to mcat issues for people who submitted very early). she said they will download them this week and will send secondary most likely next week or the week after.

No I did not. I filled out the secondary and received an II the next day. They assign you the interview date...which they gave me 10 days notice lol.

Go to the AAMC MCAT page with your score on it and click around until you see a list of schools and companies you can release your score to....you have to click on AACOMAS and then release it to them or they won't get it.
 
Are you guys getting II's applying regular or early decision?
