How can they justify not notifying people of their status until after the commitment deadline if they aren't waitlisted? I have been accepted elsewhere and can no longer wait for or consider LMU. I think they're losing a lot of great potential students doing acceptances this way.

I agree. I gave up on them and left my deposit elsewhere.

I spoke with Holly today. She said to keep checking emails regularly as they are still sending out acceptance emails. She did mention the April 15 national deadline and they were expecting to have everyone’s status updated “very soon”, weather it be accepted, wait list or declined.

Same lol. But based off of stalking last year’s class posts there was a lot of movement on the waitlist for class of 2024. So hoping it’s the same for us!

Iemailed Holly asking for my rank on the waitlist and her response was this

“Our waitlist is actually not ranked. When vacancies in the class arise, acceptance offers are determined based on selections made by the Admissions Committee followed by the approval of Administration.”
