can anyone remember the yokes that LIS brought back? PBC and which feek (not MQ, right?)? I highly encourage that ye look strongly at Kam and Morninqlory for today. I also want to hear from the bloke MJ about his flying encounter last night. Fer now, I want to put pressure on Kam.

I would mind hearing a little more from VMH since I agree with Trilt's post from yesterday.

This is the post I am referring to. I haven't played with VMH, but from other WW's that I have read I agree with this assessment. Just curious to hear more.

So here Raf doesn't want to lynch any of the candidates on the board and gives reasons for Trilt and Jil..... but doesn't mention Gwen--who had several votes at that point--at all.

Then lynches me while in the same breath saying she doesn't think the thing I'm being lynched for is wolfy.

And then when BBC reminds her that Gwen is a candidate as well, she says yeah, but her role claim hasn't piqued anyone's interests. This is pretty weird to me because Gwen's role claim was exactly why we were lynching her, and there was plenty of discussion to that point. There had been a few posts back and forth about the role being an easy one to fake as a wolf, and a stupid one to reveal unprompted. It doesn't seem genuine to me that she could read the thread and come out with "yeah no one is concerned about her role claim, let's skip over her".
 
At work, gimme a second to address a few things.

First of all, wtf, why is everybody just ignoring someone who acknowledged they weren't a villager and then lied about being neutral but then admitted to maybe sorta being chaos? I'm going to start with a lynch dyachei because I honestly feel like I'm taking crazy pills that everyone is just cool with an admitted non-villager hanging around. I'm actually kind of suspicious of LIS too for being cool with her as well.

This is a flimsy reason mostly because I have never really had a reputation for playing "disagreeably" in the first place. You may also notice that the games in which I was super helpful or tried to discuss the game mechanic a lot were either games where I was a wolf (and knew what was going on) or games where I had an active role and could speculate more (like when I was a tracker in Dy's game). I mean, I can always be a disagreeable rastabout on thread if it makes y'all feel better, but whatever.

My role this game is an after-the-fact blocking ability and it was in the N1 write up, hint that it happened to Ceke and happens to anybody who performs night actions on me. My role name should be obvious from that. The person blocked is silenced on thread for the day cycle only and can talk again during the night cycle. I will also add the obvious that no, my ability does not kill people. Someone was actually frozen last night and will be able to talk as soon as the day cycle is up.

My discussion was less of a defense of Gwen and more of a disagreement with Finn that Gwen was a "safe" lynch if Finn felt that Gwen was a villager. You all may notice that I had actually mentioned in that post that everything I said depended entirely on whether or not Gwen's villager claim was even true.

Aye, She can win with villagers (not instead of). Not coming from what she said, verified from ye fates. But going after neutrals and chaos to get cred is a very typical move of wolves.

Wasn't aware of that. Still not a fan of non-villager roles, since they don't count toward our numbers.

In this game, based off mod answers to a question, the feek is a glorified non-convertible villager (unless chaos can get converted, in which case this game is all types of messed up @Trilt ). Methinks I would rather keep her around then most lads that have the option to become chancers. And so medusa? That doesn't sound clemmy at all.

methinks that your role would be gammy for a villager to have, but mighty for a wolf to have. Silencing, while not always associated with chancer roles, are typically associated with them. Blocking can go either way, but blocking and silencing those that look into you is awfully clem. I am fierce happy with where my vote is, especially in combination with Medusa and someone that was already on me radar.

I did vote to lynch gwen on day 3, when she really wasn't a top candidate. Everyone was very focused on jil at that point (that was the day of the first jil lynch), and if I were a wolf it would have been very easy for me to just jump on the jil train that day. All the focus was on jil, and pretty much continued to be the next day. However, the fact that there was some interest on gwen on day 3 is what sparked some conversation on day 4, which I assume is why PBC chose to seer gwen with her item that night, thus revealing she was a wolf.

On day 3 when I voted for gwen, there were quite a few comments about how voting for someone just because they act annoyed is a dumb reason. Honestly, this messed with my mind a little bit, causing me to question what to do for the next lynch. If I voted for gwen, she was lynched, and turned out to be a villager, I would be a suspect. That day, I stated that I had no idea who I was going to vote for that day, which is why I was pretty open to suggestion, lynching you and then jil. In hindsight, yeah, I obviously should've just stuck with my initial gut that there was something up with gwen. But I didn't, and I can't change that now...

Hm, not really. Villagers vote for villagers all the time, it's a game. You should vote where you feel is best, this isn't a justification in my opinion.

I get that, but at that point I didn't honestly didn't know what to do or think. It's my first game, I'm still trying to figure out how to decipher what posts sound like lies and which I should follow and trust.
 
So, I think the reasons behind lynching VMH or raf are compelling.

I'm also still questioning AM though. What I'm really questioning is whether her role claim makes sense. She claimed to be a mage which from my understand (google search, so correct me if I'm wrong) is really similar to a wizard which is what Cray was. Now, I know I've played games with duplicate/similar roles before (although I think both of the ones I was involved in were trilt games) so it's certainly possible... but seems questionable to me when paired with the others reasons I found her suspicious. I'm comfortable letting it go if you guys think I'm completely barking up the wrong tree here but I wanted to bring it up just in case anyone else found it strange.

Also... trilt no! 🙁

This is something I've been thinking about this morning too. I couldn't remember who had claimed the role. Thanks for making it so I didn't have to look back on my phone!

For now Lynch AM

I will still be watching the raf and VMH lynches. There is enough to get my feelz twitching, but the similar role claim seems most suspicious to me.
 
Currently feeling raf less, vmh a little less too, still have some pages to go so that may change.

VMH just seemed villagery in her posts but raf was based on a late day vote for gwen. Happens but the post didn't feel like a noob wolf bus.

Based on some behind the scenes stuff, but nothing that rises to the level of proof, just a string of happenings that feels less coincidental to me.
 
My wan issue with not going with VMH today is that there are issues with looking into her, repercussions (plus the extra night of being blocked on top of that). We don't need the seer exposed and hames them. The seer can adequately look into the others and not be revealed. Me knows that there are 2 affiliation items currently in this game, so it should be simple 'nuff to investigate the other two within 2 nights from now. Me feels that she is the best of the three candidates currently up for lynch, even if it is the trap villager role (where the mod makes a role as a villager that is meant to seem wolfy and make trouble for the village a bit)

See these are good things to read because I had not gotten far enough to learn about these things yet. I'll keep reading but lynch vmh sits well with me.

Wondering is something happens to the seer if they look into VMH as STL suggested above. It was assumed that ceke may have told someone in our group about her ability, and if that person were wolf, then the wolves knew and killed her. Wondering now if ceke seered VMH, a repercussion of the seering was being turned into stone, and that VMH could put together from that that ceke was a seer? If VMH is a wolf, it would make sense then that the wolves would know and could kill ceke.

Someone can please look into me if I live past the lynch, I don't think my role name even sounds wolfy.
 
I am inches from jumping aboard the VMH lynch, (I'm convinced by STL's logic), but I still want to here something about AM's role and why she thinks her role is a near duplicate so we have info for the future.

Because clearly I can do both of those things, right? Redirecting is not my ability and the fact that you were redirected has nothing to do with me. Besides, I know your ability and didn't know who you were attempting to use it on last night, so what value would there have been in me trying to redirect you anyway? Plus, the most important part of your ability is that it happens at all even if it's not with the person you originally wanted it to be with (I'm trying to be a little vague here so as to not completely out you on thread, but you understand what I mean). As for Trilt I don't really have anything to say about that. As a wolf I generally try to avoid killing people who are suspicious of me right after they voice their suspicions because that kind of play is really suspicious.
 
Aye, the wan other thing not sitting well with me is that VMH still hasn't switched her vote. We will see later, but it's as if another chancer may be up for lunch and she doesn't want to give anything away if she is goin' down

Not having a wolfy role name doesn't mean a thing in this game, as far as I can tell.

It's generally the wolves who take care to avoid becoming a suspect. Villagers should be more interested in finding wolves than how their votes make them look to everyone else.

This is another ability that, if it's villager, loses the power it has to surprise and hurt the wolves once you reveal it on the thread. To make it work in the village's favor, you'd need a wolf to kill you and be blocked/ ID'd the morning after by their silence. But now no wolves would attack you and risk outing themselves. And you had...no votes against you? So why would you reveal?

Wrong, had a couple votes against me and a ton of people voicing suspicion on thread. I wanted to address it this morning but obviously you all can see why I never role revealed in PMs earlier because it's another one of those roles that will just get me lynched. Much like my role in kaydubs' FF WW game.

Yes I had been talking to ceke, but neither of us mentioned our roles or abilities to each other. You also had been talking to ceke, and you were the one who actually knew her role. There's no was to prove that I didn't know her role, so I can't really defend against that any further..

and AM role revealed on the main thread on day 1.. I think pretty much everyone knew what her role was, unless they weren't paying close attention. I've been helping her when I can with my ability in case it was true. Every time I have tried to help her, I was told it wasn't necessary anyway.
