Likely they come from Irish tales of little people and a derogatory Irish stereotype. They don't appear in any of the old Irish folklore.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very tempted to lynch STL now. But I still feel like there are a lot of big glowing signs pointed at AM that I need to address.

STL lit up a giant Vegas style billboard, but then I saw fine print. I'm running away for now, but I will need to come back.

Actually I'm staying with AM. Kam came about from word-of-mouth by STL. Fact remains AM claims to have seered Manticore and didn't think it was important enough to mention to anyone.

I was on board with the Kam lynch until STL started sounding like he was questioning himself.

I still think she could potentially be a wolf, so I hope someone looks at her further. If she's our wolf who drowns people she shouldn't be able to kill anyone tonight, but tomorrow night she'd be able to again so if it is her then we'd really like to take her out before she gets that chance. And if it's not her well then that's one less person to look at.
