Hi everyone, this seems a bit early for me, but I want to make the most of college. For medical school applications, do you come in with an intended "major?" My goal is probably to become a cardiologist (I know, first I need to get good grades, yadda yadda). Should I perform research related to cardiology? Are medical school applications like undergrad applications with slots for all EC activities? What are some things grade-wise /shadowing that I can do to be more competitive? Thanks in advance!
