I just wanted to point out that a month from today (last year) the class of 2016 got their interview invites!! We are getting so close! I must say that since hitting Submit my confidence has gone down, I think the waiting game messes with your head!
Oh and the Mizzou website has updated their stats, it now shows the admitted class of 2016 stats not the 2015 stats !

Ugh, tell me about it. Before I was like, I will be really surprised if I don't get in this year. Now I'm like, oh god, I'm not getting in this year, what are we doing until next app cycle?!
Just so you guys know, we were told this past week that they are interviewing a lot more OOSers than in past years (the new number mentioned was about 250).

Do you know if they're keeping the same class size and same proportion of OOS students in the class?
He didn't specifically say, but I'm assuming both of those will stay the same this year. I haven't heard anything about increasing class size.

I kind of liked the selective interviewing that Mizzou did. One of my interviewers told me when I left that I basically had gotten in. I felt like they did most of their screening before the interviews (so if you got one, there was a really good chance you were going to get accepted). You 2017'ers are going have to kick some butt at interviews!

11/21/12 interview invites were sent out to the c/o 2016 !! Eeek I'm getting so anxious!!
I only applied to Mizzou and UT.. Praying for good news this month! I don't want to wait till Feb to possibly get news from UT.

I think it'll be an early birthday present for your boyfriend. I somehow doubt Mizzou's staff is working on Black Friday. (I wish I wasn't, too!)
Fair point...I look at dates and forget to think about things like holidays that move around to always be on Thursday.
The only reasons I know are a) I hate working Black Friday. So. much. dietary. indiscretion. Ever seen a min pin who ate a turkey carcass?
b) I'm missing a reunion because I'm working Black Friday.

yay for IS!! although it sucks to wait, i know the feeling!! Just popping in to say hello from mizzou...although the school part is kinda sucky sometimes I really really like mizzou a lot!! Hope to see you guys around school next semester for interviews and at VET in august!! 👍😀

Well, the first and second IP's are essentially the same, except we just added a class for the second IP.
It's been crazy, I think for all of us! I think this next week snuck up on a lot of us- three/four (depending on whether you count anatomy written and practicals as one or two exams) and two quizzes next week.

I've been fairly productive; I seem to have gotten my burn-out phase out of the way so I've got the "STUDY NOW" energy while everyone else is starting to burn out. But the suture lab was so much fun! I was being such a perfectionist. 🙄
Oh, okay. I figured they would just make separate documents now that they are different, but I guess not. Thanks for pointing that out.

Was there ever supposed to be a materials received email or status page?
No, the website said they would contact you only if you were missing materials.. So no news is good news.
I thought about sending them an email from my other email ( the one that doesn't have my name in it lol) and signing it some random name so that they didn't know it was me and ask when invites are going out lol
